Alignment, Beverage, Co-Habitate
What would be their D&D alignment? How might it come into play?
I think he's a chaotic neutral, looking at the definitions?
It's noted that Akagi's true nature is 'absolutely evil', and yeah, I can see where it's coming from - in the end what Akagi does is just breaking people's spirits. It's true that they're often someone who are in high, wealthy position but Akagi doesn't really have much empathy towards people that can't stand on their own - not during the earlier years of his life anyway but he does actually respect 'good', honest people that are willing to take responsibility or just... see themselves as they are, etc.
That said he does actually give lots of people tugs to continue to their lives, though sometimes he's pretty...well, merciless about it. Especially considering older Akagi and his death scene you see him actually doing good things (I'm not referring to the way of his death tho, that's a whole another matter).
In general it's good to say that he's noted as a 'contradictory person' but he does have personal rules and code he acts according to - his heart to be clear, he'll always just do whatever he wants. Again the death scene is a good example: he says he doesn't care about people but he still bothers to call people he felt some sort of connection to him and even advicing them. But in the end he was so far off so it still wasn't enough to make him change his mind.
I think it's honestly simplifying it a bit but he seems to be chaotic neutral?
What do they most like to drink, and why?
I've said that it's only to fill his stomach - food and drink. But I've thought about that and maybe it isn't that simple. Later on especially he probably realizes how to enjoy good food but in the end 'nothing compares to the taste of people's souls - as he says haha. I was thinking about his ideals to 'live the fullest' so maybe he would enjoy food and drinks after all??
So, I suppose he does have some opinion but in the end he doesn't feel strongly about it at all, in the earlier age it might be only just to fill his stomach. But I think he'll eventually take a liking just to a good sake haha.
Do they live with anyone? What’s “need to know” before moving in?
He doesn't, Akagi prefers to be with himself probably. If he were to live with someone he wouldn't be much of a company for them and moreover he would just be even less at home than he is at his apartment atm haha.... He'll disappear and be gone for long periods of time etc. I don't think he would put much effort to cleaning either really.
So, he needs personal space haha. Dont trust him looking after the house if you're gone for a while. He won't mind if it gets robbed or burns away.
