“C-careful!” The child squeaked as the person in front of her was about to commit a dangerous action. Pointing to the ground on the sidewalk, and talking in a voice slightly loud enough for the other to hear she said, “You’re about to step on the crack, but if you do that you’ll break your mothers back.”
A new bed, a new room, a new view of sunlight shinning through a window frame. What is this? She awoke in a new room, unsure of the world around her. But, it felt comfortable. No feelings of anxiety finding ways into her mind. It was a new house, but it felt like she already knew that this was her place to stay. The girl got up slowly from the bed, rubbing her sleepy eyes and slowly taking in the world around her.
After awhile of getting ready, finding her clothes already in her closet and her personal things all nearby, Mary left to see the rest. Once reaching the door of the apartment building, leading to the outside world, a stranger was blocking the way. It seemed that they absent mindlessly didn't notice the small girl trying to get through, and her voice a bit to timid to ask for the other to move out of the way. She stared into the strangers eyes as they blocked the door, hoping they would notice her and her desire to pass.

Different days [event drabble]
You wake up ready for a completely normal day. Stretching your arms and tumbling out of bed you peer through the window to greet the happy sun. Ah, but the sun you where hopping to see was blocked by a strange tall building. You slowly come to the realization that today is not normal. The chirping of the birds you so gladly woke up to were replaced by the honking of cars and bustling of the busy people. Looking around your room you notice that it's different from before. You rush into your parents room but, of course, they're still comfortably sleeping again, so you sneak away to explore different parts of your home.
You start to panic as you realize that everything is different. All your nature styled antiques are now trophies of buildings and the place where branches which poked through your windows were instead covered in emptiness and shadows from the next building over. You didn't remember any of this. The more scared you felt the more you begun to panic so you shut your eyes and curled up into a little ball as you try telling yourself that it's all a dream. Closing out all your worries a sudden calming wind rushes through your window and wraps you in peace.
Whats there to be scared of? A faint voice whispers in your ear but no one is to be seen. You stop shaking and try to think about an answer to the question the wind had asked you. A memory hits you, or was it a dream? About a young boy who befriended a monster. The boy grew older and took the child away from her home to live in a world different from the one she was used to. Even though it was such a big change the young girl was still able to smile happily each and everyday.
This might of been from a story you read somewhere, but it felt so real. Who was that boy who rescued you once upon a time? You can't remember anything more but the worry of change flows away. "Maybe living in a new city wont be so bad!" Standing up you slip on your favorite white sweater and head outside to embrace your new way of life.

Mary's favorite place to go is to her cousins flower shop. Most days shes busy with school, friends, and taking care of her elderly parents but whenever she gets the chance she will go to Azami's flower shop.
Theta: What does your character’s normal day go like?
Each morning she wakes up about an hour or two early for school. She will make breakfast and prepare lunches for her parents while calling up her friend kuroha to make sure he gets his butt to school in time. She usually takes the train to school and back with kuroha, his brothers, and a couple other of their friends. After school she will sometimes spend time with her friends but if not she heads straight home to make dinner, tend to her parents needs, and care for the daily house hold routines until she goes to bed.

In this au, Mary was born here. She lives the life of a quite school student who doesn't have any special talents nor perfect grades but she tries her best making friends and having fun everyday!

Shes living in Paralia because since her parents are quite old, a quiet more peaceful place is better for their health. Also Mary's always been more of a forest girl rather then a city kid.

The night had only begun, but he was restless, awed, and beyond satisfied with his decision to attend the ball. After having heard that the event was free to enter and that friends were planning to seize the opportunity, he had little reason not to follow suit.
It was an event of the grandest proportions, a party unlike any he’d seen at home. It was certain blissful ignorance that he did not realize the host was the very same slowly destroying the nature of Paralia, for the thrilling ambiance of the guests, music, and refreshments combined with the sereneness of the neighboring outdoor veranda was too inviting an environment to abandon so soon.
He’d dressed relatively simple for the occasion, a small tie loosely fitted about a dress shirt coupled with matching black pants and appropriately shined shoes. With a mask of corresponding colors, he felt prepared enough to enjoy the evening until time flew.
“Mary!" Out of a surge of excitement he’d shouted upon spotting his dearest friend, influenced by the bubbling atmosphere of the mingling and giggling party-goers as he waved in her direction. Realizing then that identities were probably not supposed to be known due to the masquerade theme, he immediately recoiled, the hand soon rubbing the back of his neck shyly to disguise his mistake.
Regardless, it takes only a moment before he’s recovered and caught up with her, smiling brightly before exchanging the proper pleasantries.
“Ahh, wow! You look great!" An honest comment, he couldn’t recall a night where he’d seen her so elegantly dolled up. "Did you just get here? There’s a super nice garden outside I want to show you!”
The young girls heart was pounding happily, one reason being the fact that she got to attend such an amazing looking ball. The other reason was that her close friend, and special crush, was her date for the night. Hours before arriving she spent the day getting ready with her girl friends, getting their dresses and makeup all put on properly and doing each others hair. It was a very fun day but the events soon to come would only make the day even better.
She had her hair done up in a half ponytail consisting of the top layer, while the under layer waved down her back like calm tidal waves. Very little makeup was needed to decorate her already pretty and fair face. The dress she wore was decorated will all colors of the rainbow, bright and soft with a pink flower near the top. The mask placed upon her face was also of a bright pink to match with the rest of the colors. Most people would say her outfit was meant for a very young child but she loved it and enjoyed every bit of the youthful dress.
Her and her green haired friend arrived at the ball together but they didn't stay with each other for all to long once the white sheep's date called her out. As he walked up to her the young girl blushed at how charming he looked. Simple and sweet in his tuxedo but still as bashful looking as ever.
"Thanks! Y-you look really good to tonight..." She gave a nervous smile. She loved being around him but knowing she was his date made the girl even more flustered then usual. "Really? A garden? I'd love to see it!" She grew calmer at the fun mention of nature. Maybe tonight wouldn't be to nerve wrecking for the poor quite girl. "Where is it?"

Social gatherings were unnerving for a surprising percentage of the populace. It was understandable given that conversation did not come as easily to some as others. To a certain extent did this apply to the fearis haired yankee, but even more so did it to the bumbling bundle of nerves that was Mary. It was for that that losing sight of the bashful underclassman had been disastrous as without someone to seek shelter behind hot streaks of tears might stain porcelain cheeks.
Habits long since memorized, where the younger would take refuge was luckily quite simple to discover. Crouched down in a far less occupied section of the gala’s venue, the trembling form showed just how truly anxious she was to be alone while surrounded by so many unfamiliar faces. Protective instincts caused by a motherly disposition never failed to influence the second year’s actions, shown by how providing comfort became almost as necessary as it was to breath.
Knees bent to bring her body to the same level as the smaller’s, a hand settling upon ivory tresses to soothing pet the long strands. “Take it easy, Mary. Being alone can be scary, but you’re not.” Assurances aside, it was honestly baffling how Seto had not sensed the disturbance and rushed to the other’s side. Perhaps they had been separated in the same manner as they had been, but the only way to know for certain was to ask. “Where’s Seto? He was your date, right?”
It was scary being alone, and the small young girl especially didn't like this feeling. After being separated from her dear friend and lost in the whirlwind of people the young girl found herself huddled in a far off corner. This place was far more bigger then she was used to, the crowds much more crowded as well. This tight packed room made the girl feel uneasy and trapped which caused warm tears to drip down her shaking face.
She had no clue where the boy had went, nor did she have any idea where any of her other friends where and staying in a small little space didn't help much on her quest to find them. She didn't even need to start on her quest because soon enough, one of her special friends found her. The girl placed her hand upon the others head, petting her locks of hair. This made the child feel at ease and the tears slowly dried up.
After hearing the girl speak, pinks eyes lifted to meet her friends dark eyes. "Well..." Thinking of her words she turned her head to look towards the ground. "I... had to go to the washroom but I was too nervous to tell him... so I quietly left to find it myself but then..." Small tears fell from her eyes. "I got lost among the crowd and people tried to approach me and i got nervous and couldn't find anyone." The fright returned to her mind. She stretched out her hands to give the other a hug in need for comfort.

49. An animal a day ) ;
Visitors. Appreciated in all forms, the animal shelter enjoys those who would adopt and those who will give the animals their much deserved affection. And when it came to two very loving, innocent and caring albinos, it was a great cause, despite the random visits that would come about.
And so, Konoha led his newly visitor to their animals in order to show her the hard work and responsibility he proudly puts onto himself every day. Sitting in a rabbit pen filled with three to even six female rabbits, it wasn’t difficult for her to truly realize what his work was.
To play with them.
Grabbing a rabbit, he placed it upon his own head, the white creature blending in with his own hair, "You can put them on your head like this.. they don’t bite you. They like it up there if you hold them." Worried that the animal would fall if he turned his head, crimson attempted to glance towards her direction, "Try doing it too, Mary."
The day when she got to visit the animals finally came and they took no time getting there. Following behind the older man he took her quickly to the rabbit pen. They where rabbits of different colors, some floppy eared but others not. Some had strips, some had manes, and most bunnies where special in their own ways. The young girl stared in awe at every action the rabbits took.
Mary sat next to her friend and listened to what he had to say. She did have to do this job properly after all if she wanted to be a good volunteer. Nodding her head at his words, the young girl slowly scooped up a bunny which hopped close to her. The sudden pick up by a stranger frightened the poor rabbit and it quickly jumped out of the girls arms.
"I don’t think they like me as much as you." She gave a happy laugh. Standing up on her knees and scooting close to the other she gave the rabbit atop his head a gentle little pat. "Your job seems really great, Konoha!"
"Thanks for the offer, but I’m not really all that pretty. It’d be a waste of effort, probably! Besides, since my hair is two coloured it looks kind of odd when I style it…"
"You're really pretty and your multi-colored hair makes you unique! We wont know if its a waste of effort until we try! I guess if you don't want to though i cant force you to join... but, it really would be fun."
