Nope. You don’t get kuru just from eating brain. The brain in question has to actually be infected first, and kuru is basically gone now regardless. The last case recorded was the same year the Toughlifeverse takes place, and even then, kuru was only ever seen aaaall the way across the world from where it takes place. So nah. She’s fine
