This stinking elizabethan collar (e collar), AKA the cone of shame, is taking a lot of getting used to. It's almost too heavy for my tiny puppygirl, but they don't give out the inflatable ones because they say the dogs are able to grab it with their teeth and get it off. My sweet baby is having a hard time eating and drinking with it on, not to mention trying to potty with it and a leg that's had surgery. She's getting a little belligerent and rebellious and has tried like crazy to get away and walk on her own, even though they said she needs to stay off of her leg for the first 72 hours. It's an adjustment all around, for sure!
