Alex and I are currently driving back from Arkansas, but we just got info for a rabbit in need in Louisville. She was found outside pulling herself by her front legs. Back legs seem to be limp like with a spinal injury. She may have been hit by a car, fallen, fought with an animal, or any other number of outdoor dangers. Or abandoned for being sick. She's already been picked up, and will be meeting us at home for an assessment to send to the vet. Right now we have a matching grant up to $25,000 until the end of the week for medical equipment for the elephants. We are building India's first elephant hospital thanks to a generous supporter. Below is a list of a few things needed for the elephants medical facility. Hydraulic elephant hoist- for when an elephant needs extra help to stand. Digital Imaging System- can detect fractures even when there is a lot of swelling. Our current equipment does not. Rubber Tubs: Many of these are needed, they are $40/each.
