This crown was made for Helene Stanley to wear as the live-action reference for Princess Aurora for Walt Disneyโs 1959 film ๐บ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ฉ๐๐๐๐๐. Helene was hired in 1954, and Alice Estes was asked to create her Briar Rose gown, thus Alice is the most likely candidate for who designed the crown. ย The piece went on to be used on one of the Mousketeers โ Annette Funicello as Ozma โ in the 1957 Fourth Anniversary Show, where they sang ๐น๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐น๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐ถ๐, part of a never-realized project for ๐ป๐๐ ๐ท๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ฎ๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐ถ๐. ย If you know more about this piece, please leave us a comment!
