Hopefully will be able to take better photos soon but added a few more patches and bits!
Please ignore the dog hair that’s just from my dogs. Atleast it fits the theme
when I get more fabric paint(or paint in general, not picky) I want to make a patch that says "please ask me about the mechanisms
like this (sans comic sans)
This is on anon because I don't want to dox myself
So a group of trans people, including me and several of my friends, have been pestering our local government about trans rights. It's going pretty well, but we've gotten pushback from one particular elected official who has been spewing christian nationalist bullshit. We got a bunch of pastors and our rabbi to stand up against that. But anyway, this guy doesn't like us. And he recently called us "God skewed and gender confused" in a facebook post. So I just want to mention that because I think it would be a great patch idea. I'm already working on making a bunch of patches that say that.
So consider this an open invitation to all the punks, queers, faygeles, and outcasts: let's reclaim gd skewed and gender confused!
g-d skewed and gender confused is a super metal way of describing someone!
Working on decorating a new bag for work and in a fit of passion for the new trailer I made a little TVL patch! I kind of want to embroider the border of the VL logo to make it stand out a bit more, but I am too scared for now…TBD!

Punk crafts and patch ideas in the punk crafts notebook :)
Patch idea: I found this pencil bag in a bin at the thrift store where all the school supplies are. It was covered in scribbles and it looked like it belonged to like a middle school kid or something
It was a little banged up but I thought this would make a cool patch. Either a patch or a belt pouch I haven't decided yet. I think this is supposed to go in a binder or something? It's a little thicker than a regular fabric patch so it's going on a heavy baggy pair of pants. Or it could go on a jacket or the inside of a jacket like an inside pocket. That'd be sick honestly
I removed the rubber logo in the middle, i fixed the hole in the mesh pocket and covered the marker doodles with a black patch, and i drew some sharpie spirals around the patch just to fill up the space. I still have to paint/embroider something on the patch but I'll think of something later. I also might replace the zipper pulls with more interesting ones since the ones on the bag have logos on them
[Image ID: three images showing a rectangular dark sage green pencil bag, with black borders and a black mesh pocket on the top half. There are three eyelet holes on the side so the bag can be put in a binder and the zippers are black. The pocket on the bottom half is the same green as the rest of the bag but it had marker scribbles on it so I pinned a black rectangular felt patch right in the middle of the bottom pocket to cover them up. Next to the elastic loop at the top is a long black rectangle I drew over the last name of the person who owned this bag before me.
The second image is the same as the first but edited with white circles and white text over it. There are three circles: one around the black sharpie rectangle at the top, and next to it in white text "someones name I drew over with a sharpie." Another circle around the hole on the left side of the mesh pocket, the text next to hay reads "hole in the side of the mesh pocket." and one more circle around the rubber logo sewn into the middle of the bag and text thats reads "rubber branding sewn in." Theres white text placed over the black patch that says "felt patch to cover up old scribbles."
The last image shows the bag with the hole I fixed with black thread, the patch on the bottom pocket sewn in with black thread, spirals drawn in black marker around that patch, and the rubber logo removed. The whole bag is 10.5 inches tall, 9 inches wide and the bag is thin and lays pretty flat. End ID]
Just a quick mock up/lose sketch for a patch idea for my battle jacket I'm hoping to start soon inspired by Fenrir. Just got the basic idea and composition down so I have a reference for the real patch.
