My name is Mohammed Matar, a father of two beautiful children, Esraa and Sohaib. I also care for my elderly parents, my sisters, and their children. Like thousands of families in Gaza, the war changed every part of our lives.
Before the war, I earned a Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science and worked in laboratories and hospitals. The war took away our home, my job, and everything we had built.
Today, work opportunities in Gaza are almost nonexistent.
We are struggling to put simple food on the table, and our plates remain empty. Please don't look away from my children. π₯£π
