Passive Observation (CA Closed | Desmond)

For one of Snowdrift's height and bulk, the art of divining information about others was a bit more difficult than most. For one...a huge Pandaren staring at someone on the street for a prolonged period of time was sure to draw attention from folks. To make matters more complicated, standing for long periods of time wasn't something Snowdrift could easily do without a break. He needed to either sit or be in motion...
It was a warrior's instinct in some senses...and the fact that his body was getting old in different ones. For now, he sat at a bus stop along one of the secondary routes in District Five. It was as good a place as any to listen into the world. His brown eyes surveyed a dozen passersby. Some had small devices...more advanced phones. At least one person had a holster for a stungun. Snowdrift made absolutely certain they got a wide berth.
He shifted his weight where he sat. Even though he was inside the bus stop and safe from being swept away by human traffic...he knew he'd have to move soon before people started staring at the gigantic white and dark gray-furred bear-person. Which happened to be him. He hated being looked at as only an animal...or like he was some sort of display piece. That was when he noticed something off about his weight. And then he made out rapid footsteps. A man in a dark-brown jacket sprinted away. Snowdrift's left paw dipped to his side...and he found nothing when he reached for his cellphone.
Pickpocket.
Snowdrift stood to his feet and left the bus stop. No sooner was he clear than he sighted the dark jacket...and took off at a dead run. His legs weren't as long as a human's by comparison...but in short distances, almost no one could outrun a Shado-Pan, especially one who'd trained for war as he had. Within moments, he'd caught up to the man.
A simple blow sent them sprawling. "You have something of mine. I would like that back." Snowdrift declared, one paw hefting the heavy bladed staff from over his back.
I often here talk of this "Zombie Apocalypse" that people are actually trying to reason is going to take place. This is just another good example of how many people can so easily seize the opportunity to distract themselves from anything of rational significance, dressing stupidity in amusement, entertaining themselves due to their lack of knowledge of how to exist. Passively observant products of consumerist America. Those with their minds rotting away, those are the true zombies.
