I love those books! (I once toyed with the idea of a fusion fic, but I wasn’t sure whether anyone else had read them. :) )

They’re so good, aren’t they?

And again, Pick your favourite fic writers (no limits, as many or as few as you like) and tell them (in a fair amount of detail) why exactly you love their writing. Because this is something I feel like every writer needs at some point, someone telling them and reminding them of the exact things that make them wonderful and special.

(You guys should do this also, Ok? Ok.)

passing-fanciful: I love your ideas! They're always so original and I currently have a big old crush on your sex shop AU because gdi, it's so so sexy but also ridiculously sweet? I LOVE it. I also adore your characterisations, they're absolutely spot on. So, go you! :)

i-know-how-you-kiss: Oh Liz! You make my days brighter and make me smile even when I don't know how. :) Your writing is so beautiful and romantic and just so ridiculously cute sometimes. And of course, you hit it out of the park every single time. (I still love, love that fic you write for when I basically yelled out a prompt into the world about Killian kissing Emma after Zelena's curse) (It was PERFECT.)

intolerablystruck: ERIN MY DARLING, MY LONG LOST TWIN! I love you and I LOVE your writing. I love how REAL it is and I love how I can feel EVERYTHING and I love when you write action and I love when you write smut (Oh gosh, I LOVE when you write smut haha :O) and I love when you write vulnerable emotion because no matter what you say, you do it so so well. You are wonderful and I'm so happy we're friends. :)

amiserablelove25: COL! Ok, so yours were one of the very first fics I read in this fandom. And like I was SO new and I didn't know anyone and you followed me and like talked to me and were just all around wonderful so yes, thank you. :) Anyway, I've always loved the angst in your writing because man oh man I'm a HUGE nerd for angst. :D ANd I've loved the intensity of it all and the big emotions and the big action. It's always so exhilarating! You're amazing! :)

I see everything happening in front of me and it just blows my mind how someone can be THAT good. Plus, also, you know, Grumplestiltskin. ;)

I like the idea of a prompt. Put it up and everyone can write a fic or drabble or flash fic about due by Friday or whatever and tag it something unique, like "seastarved cs fic"

Hahaha! Yep. That's totally true though. Contrived angst bugs me so much. Almost as much as artificial, insincere fluff. So, yea, good writing is the way to go.
