*Muffet, if I recall correctly? Wiping out this hideous spider in an instant wouldn’t have been difficult, if only they had not been given an almost-useless wooden knife. They hated spiders, after all. *Do not worry, I wouldn’t stomp on you. You are a bit too big do so.

She regarded them with something akin to apathy—they were a human that used to live in the Underground, before their death. But Muffet had seen seemingly dead people come to the city, so that was no shock to her.

It would be a sight to behold for certain, but they weren’t even the same type of enemy. So unless that owlbear was a necromancer, it was pretty unlikely.

{✽} Oh, it looked like she’d confused the kid. It was hardly her fault that they couldn’t get things like the finer grace and majesty of a dragonborn. Her situation was an odd one, even for dragonborn- but that didn’t matter much. Regardless of birth, she liked to think she held that special grace about her, and she probably did… some of the time, at least.

“What, you’ve never seen a dragonborn before? Or- ah, are you from one of the places where those like me don’t exist?” Honestly, those poor, poor worlds. “Of course I’m complicated- would you expect someone like me not to be?”

That child is not able to commit such actions without a little… push, you know. He is just like his father. Or a big push, actually. Chara knew very well to have played a major role in that.  Oh, was Frisk taking a dig at them? Chara couldn’t help but smirk. *Isn’t that right? He just kept calling me that even after losing his SOUL. What a fool… but, it has been long since I could call myself one of your race, Frisk. Not that I am capable of being friends now, that is. Their grin just kept growing bigger. Chara pondered again their words. The uman soul they were carrying – was it not this Frisk’s?If it was as the scientists said, it was highly possible.

No, they probably would have done it anyway, without any player interference. It was their nature to want to see every path. Was it fear or curiosity that kept them from moving past the one year point? No matter what, they always came back.

They were really quite a brat, weren’t they? They did end up raising a brow at the child (demon)’s suggestion, however. They allowed themself to remain positive despite that.
