Maybe I didn’t express myself cleary. I have zero problem with people liking people or characters because of their looks. You can entertain yourself in the shallow end of the pool all day long. Hey, sometimes maybe even I can join! My problem is with people assuming this is the only reason or the main reason women can like anything that happens to be of the opposite sex. Especially fictional characters.
And speaking of which, my all time favourite character is a fat dwarfish younger clone-brother of the main protagonist. Introduced as antagonist trying to get him killed, jealous, abused, underestimated… Oh, dear, I sense a pattern here. ;P
Yes, I’ve seen things I cannot unsee on tumblr. But not only in “loki’ tag, but also in almost everything; even innocent “cat” or “angels” have their dose of horrible porn. I can’t enter “star wars” tag without seeing something disgusting on the first page, because People.Just.Don’t.Tag.Their.Shit.

Anyhoo, I didn't get the impression that you were calling shallow people who enjoyed looks above the rest. I don't either, if anyone's interested, after all this is entertainment, we're entitled to a bit of superficiality.
Similarly, I didn't—would never—deny the argument that women get a hard time for doing half the things men do in a fandom; if anyone's got other ideas, they're seriously non-right in the head. However, I wouldn't say that only women's motives are questioned, because more and more frequently (though not enough) the men's got questioned too. Feminists make sure of that, eh.
But. It is not because a lot of people are always ready to question their motives for the bad reasons that there aren't good reasons to question everything. In other words, it's maybe a little risky to assume people are being misogynistic just because they are questioning the fandom's habit to [insert a list of reproaches].
