PAScribe Challenge This weeks’ version of the #pascribechallenge is the Lorem Ipsum text written at 3mm. Writing smaller is more difficult and requires a more intimate knowledge of nib-ink-paper interaction. I commented on all the posts from last week’s challenge so here’s to hoping you are up to this weeks’ challenge. Now that you see how much I put into it I need you to - Write at 3mm xheight at 55degrees List which nib, holder type, paper, ink you used. PAScribe Challenge Last week I posted something I was working on to help me look at my own consistency, the writing of a page of text in as simple a hand as possible. A few people commented on it and I thought ‘why not make it into a full challenge’ so here it is. Follow along, post correctly and I will have a look at what you are doing. Join me on building accuracy! Building accuracy is critical to good writing. How accurate are your letters? Can you write a block of text and NOT embellish them? Can you write the simplest letterforms and stay focussed and not need to add a little flourish here or there? Can you really stay between the guidelines? What about the angle of the script? Look at it from upside down and down the axis! Add your name and date the work. This is at 6mm and 55degrees on an A4 sheet of paper. Plain text only.
