Well!- ummm well! There was- that one......

Straight up this game needs more diversity and more game modes. Arcade mode for the original game is literally the same thing over and over again it gets boring real quick. However even though im 3 years late to the party, i finally got around to playing this game and here are my thoughts for a sequel years from now. Btw i typed this because i could not go to sleep.

1. Arcade mode needs to have randomizers like Mk9s test your luck.

maybe even levels where the player can explore or where if you hit a character hard enough in the right location in the screen the fight changes into another map location.

2. Arcade mode needs a few bonus modes for relaxing and having fun where you can just chill or skip the thing straight up. Here you can get points or some shiz for like playing as the earth from locoroco and guide your character, rap as your chosen character in a parappa style event, play baseball yakuza style, grab a monkey net and chase apes as like kratos and stuff, infiltrate shadow Moses,  play Two Han Princess Oishii Two han Seikatsu while fighting Rex and Ray, play sports with kevin butler and Marcus Rivers; JUST DO SOMETHING TO CHANGE IT UP.

3.An option for 2 player arcade mode and 2 player rival cut-scenes so it 2v2 team battles.

4.Characters that should be added:

Both Abigail Walker and Delsin Rowe from Infamous First Light and Second Son. Either John white as the beast or Lucy Kuo and Nix from inFamous 2.

Tomba from Tomba!

Juan Aquacate and Tostada from Guacamelee.

Lightning from final fantasy or just anybody from any final fantasy game.

Red from Transistor.

Kazuma Kiryu from Yakuza.

Either a Pomeranian or ERC-003 from Tokyo Jungle.

Jetstream Sam from MGS: Rising.

Logan Graves from starhawk.

UnJammer Lammy from Unjammer Lammy. Hell maybe even gitarooman.

Calypso from twisted Metal.

Chop master onion from parappa.

Dart feld, Rose and Lloyd from legend of Dragoon.

Vergil from Devil may cry or DMC.

Chimera from resistance.

 kutaro from Puppeteer and Knack.

The new Lara Croft from tomb raider.

Filia from Skullgirls.

Palette Swap characters like Evil and Good cole share the same space but the selection image is split in half. An example would be to split sack boy and girl. Chloe as a Nathan Drake alternate skin and voice acting.

Big Sister from bio-shock 2

Gene from god Hand.

Motherfucking Adam Jensen with his rival, a locoroco. 

Athena from GOW series.

Specter from Ape escape and Yumi, Kai, and Jimmy as Spike`s Counter Parts.

Spyro the dragon and Crash bandicoot as one character because why not. Everyone want this.

Dr. Nefarious from Rachet and Clank.

ANY VERSION OF SNAKE WILL DO AT ALL: PEACEWALKER, PHANTOM PAIN, SNAKE EATER, MGS 1 and 2, MGS4. YOU NAME IT. Hell name any snake and well take it. BETTER YET PLAY AS THE BOSS FROM MGS 3.

And lastly more Japanese Video game representation. Hehaichi and toro were the only non-westernized characters who fell under this category. 

Every game represented here or in the last game should have at least 1 additionally character from its respected game.  

Give raiden more weapons like the pole arm, e`stranger, and the Pincer Blades. Also give raiden unarmed mode just like for the last boss battle of MGS:R

Give Kratos the option to choose his magic to what best suits the player.

4.5 Give some characters item taunts like for sweet tooth, give him a throw-able ice cream, sacboy can open the poppit menu where he can change his appearance or pop himself if he wanted to, fat princess curls a dumbell, snake could read a book, 

5. More items. I Seriously get the same items 3 times a match every match during arcade mode.

5.5 Let the Player actually summon minions from the field as items or allys:

 The Senator from MGS charges, tackles, and kicks opponents football style, summon a chocobo ally, a hot shots golf, Golf club and ball.  Summon a locoroco. Donuts that turn the player into donut versions of the respected characters.  have Lone Wander ride in on his horse and pinpoints the light off the sword onto a player, the biters from The Last of us, A crystalized dragon from spyro that erupts once you touch it, tenzin shows up and caps a dude in the knee, summon zoni to heal in battle, summon THE END the Process from transistor, summon a buster sword from FF, a motherfucking pokeball, that oil lady from infamous 1, JUST ADD MORE THINGS TO USE. Hell ill even take the brick throwing simulator from the last of us.

Minions and buying minions should actually serve a purpose.

6. Things that PSABR could do that smash bros hasnt: Customizable characters and outfits, dont just give a character a colorful hat. 

6.1 Super items:Summon the kazama family tree, king of the cosmos shows up, Summon all of history from tokyo jungle, vents that summon necromorphs,  fight horde of gekkos, summon the shambhala guardians or the djinn from Uncharted, just something awesome to look at.

6.2 During the loading screens for the ps4 have the characters animated or have a better loading screen in general. 

6.3  Have Cross Character Costumes.The original game sort of did this with some characters like Dantes vergil coat or Raidens gray fox color scheme. But do this for real like on a DLC basis. Im talking about giving Nathan Drake a Sly Fox outfit and a lara croft outfits, Give Nariko Dante`s coat,  Give MGS4 Snake the Journey Hero Cloak, Give  Give raiden lightnings armor, give tomba a ape escape hat, give big daddy freaking sweet Issac clarke armor, give Cole a Delsin outfit, give The Boss narikos outfit, give crash a parappa outfit, give radec octocamo, and give Juan aquacate`s Calypsos suit. This is what Fighting game DLC should look like.

7. Why not give some characters defensive specials to counter offensive specials. Like big daddy and big sister floods the bottom quarter of the map to slow everyone down,  An ape escape prison riot, or even stuff like Juan aquacate changes the day into night.

8. Have collectible artifacts of PlayStation`s history

9.actually have a coherent story and dont just copy and paste the respective game backgrounds for character arcade intros and outros. Actually animate it.
