Ok imagine Optimus and Bumblebee are in a fight and said some words they didn't mean so Bumblebee leaves but feels bad and buys Optimus a one wish willow to make him feel better
But while Optimus dose appreciate the gift he still a little mad and so Optimus wishes for Bumblebee to "just be quiet for once" breaks the willow and at first nothing happens and Optimus laughs about it but Bee acting really strange and walks over to grab a tool or if you want to get angsty maybe Bee pulls out his own stinger and Proceeds to Rip his own throt out

We could go the actually Obsession route and Optimus can wish for Bee too "listen to me", and Optimus break the willow, and Of course he thinks it's a stupid toy and throws it away but.... Things start getting werid, Bumblebee hangs around Optimus more like he waiting for Optimus to tell him what to do and Bumblebee is way more quieter now and it's freaking Optimus out cause Bee is smaller and when Bee doesn't speak Optimus keeps bumping into him or stepping on his foot, and it's really starting to freak Optimus out, until one day.
He start talking about how the human villains are annoying him more and more and how'd he'd wish they "just stop existing" (he ment Stop existing as Villains) ... and he says all in front of Bee, who decided that in order to stop the human from being Villians, he needs to take their ablit to used their weaps away, and by next week every single human Villians have been in some sort of accident, Professor Princess was found run over, Nanosec legs were shattered, Slo-Mo arms get ripped off and found dead near the harbor, The Angry Archer was crushed by something and looked like a balloon of blood had been popped where he was found
Needless to say the autobots aren't happy about it, yeah the villains were annoying but they didn't want this to happen to them and now their convinced their a killer on the lose or some sort of vigilante violence was committed, meanwhile Bumblebee was busy cleaning his frame... he apparently ran over some road kill
And actually Optimus and Bumblebee relationship was improving, Bumblebee was doing what Optimus said without argument and at first it weirded Optimus out but felt like, Bumblebee was acting starting to take him seriously as a leader, but was still a little put off when Bumblebee would lowkey wait for Optimus to command something...... even to a point where Optimus, kind of felt like Bumblebee was always watching and waiting for Optimus. But Optimus didn't want to say anything about it cause he just thought Bee was finally maturing and didn't think anything was wrong about it...
Ratchet on the other hand was creeped out by Bumblebee sudden quietness he thought maybe Bumblebee was depressed or maybe he just finally shutting up, either way he didn't want to pry but did ask if Bumblebee was ok and Bee say "yeah, Optimus says I'm fine".
Prowl didn't see anything wrong with it, he enjoyed this quieter more focused Bumblebee AT FIRST, but when Bumblebee stops arguing with Prowl or being obnoxious and witty around him, Prowl obviously ask why Bee suddenly stopped and Bee just says "cause Optimus told me to stop", and Prowl honestly didn't know how to feel; this was the same bot that ignores Optimus on a daily basis and now he suddenly Mr. Listener, Prowl know something ain't right just can't tell what
Meanwhile Bulkhead isn't just creeped out he's just flat out concerned, Bumblebee have never acted like this, he's too quite, too meek, too compliant, Bulkhead asked Ratchet to just evaluate Bumblebee on his mental status, but Ratchet argues that Bumblebee not showing any extreme signs of anything major weather that Be physical or mental, he can't force Bumblebee to take an evolution unless Optimus ask or Bumblebee dose something extreme to either his own body or someone else, so Bulkhead gose to Bee and begs him to see Ratchet but Bumblebee just laughs and says "but Optimus thinks I'm fine".
But shit gose down when their fighting black arachnid, and it's Optimus alone with Black arachnid just fighting and arguing but Optimus has black arachnid caught under one of her mechanics and just says "i wish you'd get it through your think skull that-" before he can say another word, Bumblebee comes in with a big rock and smashes Black arachnid head in, and Bee turns to Optimus coverd in and blood and says "I listened Optimus, I listen for once".
Bittersweet side moments where Optimus realizes that it was Bumblebee who committed all those crimes but doesn't arrest him and instead pulls him into a hug, while simultaneously pulling him out of Black arachnid base and Prowl was quick to handcuff him with Optimus still holding onto a bloody Bumblebee tightly.
Hey so their this trend on TikTok right now where everyone is calling Bumblebee the dictator of hasbro cause he's "stealing" all the screen time or whatever
And when I first heard of this trend I genuinely thought the Tumblr transformers community would love it, but I'm seeing Zero discussion about it on here.
So I'm just lowkey here to ask

And this is why I feel like this is why Bee is attached to Optimus and why he so loyal, Bee see how Megatron is with Starscream he see what Starscream has become because of Megatron, but Because Optimus is sweet and protective and loving, Bee lowkey gains a bird mindset like "he'd never do that to me", "he hasn't done it to me so why should I care", "Optimus loves me", but DEEP down..... Bumblebee knows Optimus has Flaws too but he chooses to make it seem like Optimus is this Flawless and all knowing Prime because he loves living in this fantasy world where nothing is wrong because Optimus to protecting them
(Also that Transformers Animated thing where Bee is lowkey a hoe YES!!! I agree he's gay and he's slept with most of Team Prime) cause to me Optimus x Bumblebee is "Ok" in SOME continuities because he and Bee are literally the same age!! And before anyone gets on to about "age gaps", half the fucking time Bee is quit literally a 23-year-old hanging out with a bunch of 30- 50-year-olds
The only exception to the rule is like you said G1 cause the animators wrote in the bios for Bee that's he has the mentality of a 19-year-old and of course GoGo continue Optimus quite literally raised him since he was a baby,

And actually that's why I love the bayvers movies lowkey cause in the last 2, with crosshair, drift, and hound everyone of them dose not care for Optimus besides Bumblebee, and lowkey love how they mess with Bumblebee cause they clearly see he depends on Optimus way to much, to me that why they mess with him cause he trust Optimus judgment too quickly like SERIOUSLY??? you don't even wanna question his decision! I also feel like because Optimus and Bumblebee are not related and how close they were, alot of Autobots definitely thought they were screwing at first then Optimus is like "oh i love him like a son" and everyone was like "ok!" And it's not like their going to questions Optimus about it. Ratchet dose but he mostly tries to finds out so he can shoves things under the rug for Optimus......

i feel like bees really an optimist [pun not intended] at heart when it comes to people [which is why i think theres so many crossfaction ships with him]. and especially when everyone around him is under op's influence too its just like. the autobot ranks depend so much on everyones loyalty to op, i mean this is a given for a lot of armies but specifically for transformers it just feels like a mirror of megatron.
and the cult leader thing. oooooooooh AUUGHHHH words cannot describe how much that fucks me up /pos. theres like so much manipulation optimus relies on in like all of his interactions he really does carry himself like hes the only guy in the room.. speaking of bayverse the one line i think about all the time is this one from AOE
like i really do think that line encompasses a lot of whats going on with him n the rest of the autobots/ the autobots with eachother.
