Had my neurology appt this morning, it was such a good visit! My seizure control is still all sketchy as all hell, but now I can go upwards to four months without having a seizures and its really only stress that is my kryptonite. So we’re not messing with my seizures meds anymore, its just managing my stress levels. My migraines are still kinda bad, so we are still messing with those meds, but managing my stress should help that too.
Not that any of you guys needed to know any of this. I’m just excited. Seriously, I’ve had uncontrolled Epilepsy for 24 years, this is so exciting.
i think it mightve been a seizure because this was out of character af for me and ive been feeling pretty seizurey for like a week, but my partner and i were going to go get food and suddenly i became very anxious and paranoid that they were basically driving me to my doom and that they were going to do something bad to me, and i kept getting these nearly irresistible urges to jump out of the moving car
thankfully, i was able to resist it and appear to not be experiencing that issue, but ive never had something like that happen, except for when my mother was being insane several years ago, but there were no circumstances (like arguing or other stressors) that would otherwise cause me to do that last night
convinced that god was on drugs when it came to epilepsy bc wtf is this
just realized (again) that ive never heard of an actual old person with epilepsy? middle aged yes, but never an actual old person. does it really pick people off before they reach old age like that?

does anyone else get or know about systemic nerve pain influenced by female hormones? i had some of the most debilitating episodes of nerve pain (all over my whole bofy, not just pelvic) when i had the IUD in, and then a couple of nights this past period. i only get these episodes a couple times a year, so not often enough to point out a trigger, except for the past couple of times, it seemed to be influenced by hormones. i dont have MS to my knowledge (havent looked at spine though) and the only issue is upper motor neurons because of my epilepsy being in a motor area, and not the "typical" area for focal epilepsy.
I will say that endo has finally gotten on the radar and im pretty sure theres some on my pudendal nerve, since i get a lot of pelvic nerve pain flare ups right before and as my period is starting, but that still doesnt explain the pain in every limb and major peripheral nerve, down my neck and back, around my ribs, etc
the sexual tension between my seizing brain and the side of the bathtub
having seizures in a motor area gives me the unique opportunity to run a free trial of upper motor neuron disorders such as MS and stroke, at random times 😍
