“ okay okay but listen. you know what men’s fashion needs? more texture. everything is so boring. i want tulle. i want fluff. i want pretty. i want color! “
chad doesn’t always bring work home. he prefers not to, as to keep the two realms of his life apart. but sometimes it can’t be helped. plus, he likes getting the opinion of someone who isn’t so fashion forward or fashion concerned. someone like jay. that desire for jay’s opinion is what has lead to this image: every inch of their dining room table being covered with fabric books, all open, and revealing the multitude of swatches inside. their table is transformed into a rainbow sea of fabric squares and thoughtfully hovering over the collection of neutrals, neons, jewel tones, shimmer, and shine, is chad.
he has a pen tucked behind his ear and yellow-gold curls are pulled out of his face with a rose bobby-pin he nicked from audrey. in his hands is his sketchbook and focus is on his features.
his fingers run over cobalt tulle, letting them linger and letting his eyes take in their rich color. he looks back at his sketchbook to reference his drawing.
“ what do you think? i’m worried tulle might be a bit much for everyone else. “
