I am beyond thrilled to be listed alongside so many other fantastic female playwrights on this year’s Kilroys list. I admire the hell out of the thirteen women who had the tenacity and vision to put together a definitive list of the absolute best American plays by female and trans playwrights, giving literary managers and artistic directors across the country a resource toward gender parity in American theatre. I love that this list was established last year. I love that they put out another list this year. And I am absolutely floored that I am included. Here’s a little more about The Kilroys: 

The Kilroys are a gang of playwrights and producers in LA who are done talking about gender parity and are taking action. We mobilize others in our field and leverage our own power to support one another.

Sometimes you are trying to do a Skype interview and talk about important issues in theater.

And sometimes a rabbit gets really annoyed she’s not the center of attention.
