I am in Paris! We were all exhausted from the long flight but we made the trek to a really cool open air market that had a variety of fruits, vegetables, meats, and cheeses that I had never seen before. The market was so colorful and lively, it was cool to walk around and be part of the Parisian culture. After exploring the market for a bit, Peter, the director of PAA, bought each pair of roommates a plant to liven up our rooms. My roommate Lexie and I picked out a pretty hyacinth plant that we named Pierre because he is very french. I am not sure how long he will live because we will most likely forget to water him, but we will give it our best shot! Lexie and I took a nap before heading to a greek restaurant for dinner. We got bit lost on the way back and stumbled upon this lovely little street filled with restaurants and bars. The street was also lined by Christmas lights that made it look so pretty in the nighttime. Maybe I will have to get lost in Paris more often if these are the kind of things you can find! It is absolutely time for bed now. Bon soiree!
