ALBUM OF THE WEEK
Mary Bell’s self-titled debut album is my record of the week, some good ol fashioned riot grrl punk trash straight outta Paris, they certainly deserve a listen. so pay attention.Â
The album is deliciously low-fi, maintaining the trruuu rocknroll essence of not taking yourself too seriously. I’m gonna be honest and admit that I really don’t know anything about them outside of just hearing the record and falling in love, so if you (single reader who most definitely doesnt give a shit) find anything out about them, please enlighten me.Â
Their record is available to download from their bandcamp (name your price, but pay if you’re not a cock), unfortunately their 12″ vinyl is already sold out but I know for sure it’s still available at 72 records in Brussels (and I’m sure elsewhere too, if you look hard enough).
Personal favourite tracks incluuude empty puppet, fire fire, and waste.Â

CHECK EM THE FUCK OUTÂ
I walk alone in the streets, Partisan hymn comes to my hears. A bullet brushes my cheek, I turn over and I see panzers. Da svisdaniya, da svisdaniya Da svisdaniya Warszawa. German hords devastate the city And russians are waiting for our death. Polish women are crying Tears of blood falling on the snow.
From Paris, but its name, in German, means “without fatherland”. Active from 1983 to 1988. The information about this band on the net is short. But I found a blogspot with enough info (it is in French): http://beurk-beurk-beurk.blogspot.com.es/2015/04/discographie-heimat-los-france-paris.html And also this web: http://euthanasie.records.free.fr/discographie/sites/Heimatlos.htm
However, it looks like they are active again, cause I foud out this page in Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Heimat-los-officiel/492621054130258
Wooo! We have order tapes since the demo is mixed and mastered, friends! The art is almost done, we have done it ourselves and are excited to show you what it looks like.
Here are some photos from a few past shows.
