@tangodeaja;
Itâd been an hour or so since heâd arrived at the luxury hotel for the evening, time which heâd spent enjoying a flute glassful from the complimentary chardonnay and one of the mint chocolates that came with the suite. Flynn wasnât surprised at checking in first, even if the vacation had been Roxieâs prize -- he was the one that had been residing in the city for a few years now while everyone else had remained somewhat transient. He didnât mind the peace that came with the quiet, lounging on the couch, boots long since kicked off to revel in the full comfort that came with the cool leather.
Heâd meant to sit up once more as soon as his ears prickled with the soft click of the door, responding to the keycard on the other side, but his large form had sunken in so far that he was ill-prepared for the flurry of motion that rushed towards him. Blonde hair tickled at the lips and nose as slender arms slipped around the maleâs neck before standing up again to give her best motherly scolding of a look. âBilly Flynn Josue Motier, donât tell me youâve already popped the free wine without us!â
âWhat can I say,â the male chuckled, âI love a good vintage when I see one.â Propping his elbows against the cushions to return to an upward sitting position, his eyes caught onto someone else coming up from behind his sister. Almost reflexively, a smile creased his features. He didnât need to check; heâd been aware of whoâd Roxie invited to the trip the moment sheâd texted about it. âHey Aja, hey Nando.â Though it was unintentional, Flynn craned his neck a bit to get a better look at them as he gave a little wave.
