   He’d been L O S T in his own version of a booze-induced coma for days now but that certainly didn’t mean he’d ever want his neighbors or any passer-by to see all the bottles and jump to their own conclusions; maybe he was too narcissistic for that (or it just wouldn’t get him far being known as an alcoholic). “I had a few friends over...” And with that, he gave a defensive look. “AND YES. I DO have those before you ask.” 

            finding herself outside was  A L W A Y S   the goal and certainly where she found herself thriving; she’d never been one to say it was easier to breathe inside where she was stuck or trapped. the worst cage in her mind was the ones that were built within four walls — a school or a house ( they were all the same ). “ It’s nice out here; I can smell the grass and the flowers... ” the wood of the trees and the way everything smelt HAPPIER both collectively or merely in general. “ Who needs shoes, right? ” it was something said almost seriously and with a faint smile, something painted more serious by the fact she’d thrown her shoes to the side moments ago.
