Samantha Brass (7:43:43 AM): The wolf had headphones in, she wouldn't risk anyone hearing anything and she knew she only had a few more hours before the family woke up she she'd have to hide all her stoled things and pretend she was nothing more than an expensive dog with extensive brain power. She answered wither her video as well, it was dark and you could barely see her face except what of her features was lit up by the light of her computer screen. She said nothing even though she wanted to, she only waved, praying that the lanky male on the other side of the computer couldn't see the tears welling up in her eyes at his image on her screen. It's been so long she barely remembered what he looked like, her heart thumbled in her chest for him. She missed him so greatly. /Your nose is still huge/ She typed a sad smile gracing her face only for a brief second as she watched the male on the screen in front of her.
Tanner Reed (7:50:13 AM): Tanner smiled at the little ghosty picture of Sammi that showed up on his screen in her dark room. "Spam," he said in a breathy and happily surprised voice. He sucked his lower lip between his teeth before looking directly into the camera with those loving and worried emerald eyes of his. He pouted slightly at her message, fingers coming up to the tip of his nose and just holding it there. "My nose is not huge. Hush." he said with a pout. He tried to take in as much of her image as he could, but there wasn't much to see. Tanner was sitting cross legged in his purple undies. He was kind of trying to get a reaction out of her.
Samantha Brass (7:56:41 AM): The tiny female was really glad that she couldn't be seen because more and more tears were starting in her eyes and they stung her eyes. She felt a few rolling down her cheeks, /you are still so gad damn scrawny, what do you mean you filled out?/ A sad smile did cross her face and in the faint light it it was visable. She hadn't ever hated herself more than she did right now, She missed her best friend so much, more than that she missed the male that she loved so much she hurt to think about it. /You should be dressed, you know, normal people wear clothes./ She had to pick on him, that was just part of who they were, and part of the way that their relationship just worked. /You look good./ She thought he'd like to hear it and he really did look good. She missed him so bad that her heartached, she could think of the way he smelt, the way he felt just to be around her and it was only now she realized that it hurt less to sit next to him every day and love him than it ever was to try and leave.
Tanner Reed (8:03:42 AM): Tanner watched her comments pop up on his screen and he rolled his eyes. "Well I can't wear clothes to show you where I filled out," he told her playfully. His heart was throbbing in his chest right now. It hurt to be so far from her, but she was on his screen, living proof she was still alive and okay. That was better than he'd had for the past ten years she'd been missing. He then nodded at her last comment. "Thanks, Spam," he drawled in that deep and 'my balls have now dropped and I'm ready to mate' way. "I tried to gain some muscle, but I'm just not built for it."
Samantha Brass (8:10:50 AM): /You're obviously incapable of muscle, you always have been/ She just let her eyes take him in, soaaking up every little bit of his image that she could while he was there. He was just so Tanner, everything about him in her mind was perfect, he was flawless and amazing and just everything she'd consider good and pure in the world. She wanted to reach out and touch him but she couldn't. /I'd let you see me if I could. I'm sorry you can't see much but I'm here/ and she waved her hand again to show that she was actually there and it wasn't a looped tape or something, she didn't know why her heart told her to do it but it did. She reached up and brushed her fingers over her cheeks sweeping away the tears, hoping he wouldn't realize but she knew, that he knew her better than that and he'd just know. /Please Tanner, don't be stupid./ She didn't want him to come charging at the walls to this stupid perfect city and getting himself killed. That would break her heart and she couldn't live, she needed him to stay alive so that she'd have a fighting chance to maybe one day find her way out of this hell hole. She hated being their display piece, but she had no choice, she hadn't figured her way out just yet but she was. She swore to it, she couldn't be away from this man any longer. Not after seeing his face, she needed him too much.
Tanner Reed (8:16:03 AM): The Lion touched his screen when she waved again, sighing a little sadly. It broke his heart to see her wiping tears from her eyes and he just wished he could be there to wipe them away. "I know you're there..." he told her softly before sighing, picking at his fingers and looking down at his hands as he did so. "I'm not going to be... I'm gonna get help and we're gonna come get you and the other supes, Sam..." He hadn't even brought the idea up yet, but that's what he wanted to do. A rescue mission.
Samantha Brass (8:27:10 AM): She was quiet for a long time because she was trying not to let him see that she had bigger tears rolling over her cheeks. She really hoped he'd figure something out, maybe she could get others to help here get out. It wouldn't hurt... right. /Just be smart please./ She could only beg him to be safe because she knew the lion well enough to know that, no if ands or butts around it that he was going to try and get her out of this fucking city, even if it killed him. /The famly's starting to stir, I have to go./ She flicked her hazle eyes up to the computer as she reached out and ran her fingers over his image. To keep herself safe she had to go, not that she wanted to. /I miss you T. I love you. Be good./
Tanner Reed (8:31:21 AM): He was trying not to get upset himself, the male sighing softly. "I love you Sammi... Let my love keep you strong, my friend." he told her before blowing her a kiss. It killed him, it utterly killed him that she couldn't stay longer and that she couldn't even talk. He wished so badly to have her back by his side so he could touch her again.
Samantha Brass (8:37:00 AM): The tiny female let her fingers brush over his image again and they they tapped at the keys again. /Always and Forever./ The statement was simple but it was a Sammi thing. She blew him a kiss back and with that ended the call and let bigger tears just fall from her cheeks as she shut down and closed her bit of technology and tucked it away that no one would find. It kept her connected to the male who she longed to be with and that's what mattered. The time between now and when she spoke to him again was going to hurt but she had to get through it. Hopefully he'd put together a better plan.
Tanner Reed (8:42:45 AM): It hurt watching her go, but he just sighed, going off to spy on the boreders of the human city to try and figure out where he could get through to his lover... er... friend.
