"One year ago the King of Planet Vegeta had a son who became immediately famous as the Prince of Saiyan Vegeta and proud for his skills that made him the strongest. At the same time his loyal right arm of the army Paragas was also blessed by the birth of a son, Broly, who boasted an unusual potential even higher than Vegeta, so the jealous King confined the prodigy Broly in a distant and dark planet. 

A furious Paragas betrayed King Vegeta in search of his beloved son and then find him on a stormy planet. The little Broly had lost his chance to return home since the impact of the landing had broken the ship's mechanisms which meant that he and Paragas had been abandoned by everyone for decades.

In the present, on Earth, six Dragon Balls present in Bulma's laboratory have been stolen by the resurrected Freeza to realize his great ambition. Meanwhile, Freezer's patrollers casually find Paragas and Broly at the edge of the Galaxy and lead them to Freeza, forming a phenomenal battalion. Freezer flies to a frozen land where the Spheres are located. Even Goku and Vegeta go to the same place to recover them, but first, they have to face their historic enemy Freeza and the formidable Broly again.

BE CAREFUL WITH THE SPOILERS

Oh about that, the similarities are enough, Broly, as you may have noticed, looks pretty crude and primitive, I do not mean it in a bad way, it’s just that Broly lived in exile on a hard and hostile planet all his life with the only company of his father , a classic, hard, stoic saiyan and knowing vegeta we can get the idea that it was not affective and much less too talkative.

Broly does not know how much the world around him works.by hazards of fate he ends up crossing the road with frieza, arrives at the land and fights with Goku and Vegeta; he relates and makes friends with Cheelai and Lemo. It is overloaded with so many new experiences.

His behavior reminds Tarzan of the Disney movie.It shows a lot in his interactions with cheelai and Lemo more than anything.It reminds me a bit of the dynamics of Jane and the teacher. Although in this case Broly speaks the standard galactic language (Japanese) as everyone or in his case Paragas speaks for him.

He is a man of few words and in fact his Japanese is very simple and basic.I wonder if they would adapt this aspect in the other dubings, because Goku has a very small-town Japanese and I have listened to the Spanish and English dubbing and they did not double the character with this peculiarity.

About Frieza, to be honest, before the premiere I thought that Frieza would be something of an ally for the fight, because in the tournament of power I help Goku and 17 in the fight against Jiren, so I assumed that between Goku and Frieza there was something as well as camaraderie.I’m completely wrong.

The little sympathy I had for Frieza in the tournament was lost in this movie. IS THE ONLY VILLAIN OF THE MOVIE.And that I loved, for me Frieza will always be the bad guy, he is the villain par excellence of the series. So I felt happy that he recovered his role as Villain.

The film begins with the ships of the Empire of Cold landing on the planet Vegeta, and like the Saiyan, we as spectators learned of Cold’s retirement, and that the empire will be Frieza who is more cruel and sadistic than his father .He is later responsible for the genocide of hundreds of planets and the annihilation of the Saiyan. And if you want to know, Bardock does appear against Frieza.
