Hi there! Thank you for starting this blog up and giving folks a forum to talk about the THG universe. Iām hoping to hear what others thought about TBOSAS, especially as it handles- or maybe doesnāt?-issues of race. Iāve always thought of THG as ahead of the curve as far as giving readers a WOC as our heroine (compared to its YA contemporaries), so it took me aback, getting Snow as the lead in TBOSAS. Felt like a regressive step. [1/2]

Anyway, reading TBOSAS, especially Sejanusā lynching, had me thinking about whether SC chose to engage the topic of white supremacy (is Sejanus coded as a BIPOC? He is definitely a Capitol outsider/of the Districts), or whether she avoided it. Or is it something in between? And what do we make of Lucy Gray and the Covey? When the last line is, āSnow lands on top,ā is she talking about white supremacy and the consolidation of power around whiteness? Would love to hear what others think. [2/2]
I would just like to thank Caryn/Papofglencoe for her writing (which has made us all laugh, cry, think, or simply sit and be amazed), her spirit and strength (which is an inspiration on it's own), and for her humour (which is good natured and so lacking). While I havenāt written an Everlark threesome, Iāve read a couple of them. (I sort of wrote the start to a threesome in How Strange, Innocence, but it was nonconsenual, so... no good.) I appreciate the prompt, but Iām way too chicken. I get freaked out enough when Iām writing smut just between K & P. (Two sets of limbs are hard to keep track of. If I threw in another set...oh man.)
