There’s was this fic I was reading that was on ao3, based off L.M Montgomery’s story The Blue Castle. I think it was called the Sunset Castle or something along those lines. It was no games au and I’ve been searching and cannot find it 😭
Basic plot is like Peeta is not living a good life with his family but then he discovers he has a heart disease so he starts living how he wants, and he moves in with Haymitch who’s taking care of Thresh who is also sick. And Katniss has like a truck and she’s travelled in the districts. Then Peeta and Katniss have a marriage of Convience but they start to fall in love 😍 and Delly Cartwright is Peeta’s cousin
It was basically The Blue Castle but Peeta/Katniss

This is something I've been meaning to do for a long time, especially after the brief but terrifying time last year when Tumblr deleted the @promptsinpanem blog from the platform and we nearly lost it forever.
Thankfully the wonderful owner and admins of PiP, @badnovels 👑(MissHoneywell) and @absnow (Abagail_Snow) 👑submitted appeals to Tumblr and fought hard to successfully win it's reinstatement.🫶🏼
@promptsinpanem began as a writing challenge with themed prompts that were usually spread over seven days. Over time, PiP gained a huge following and became a very significant part of the THG fandom. Great excitement and anticipation followed the announcement of each new round. PiP was the birthplace for many a now classic everlark fanfiction and fanart.
So I have put together an EFQ Masterlist with links to each of the PiP masterlists taken directly from their blog, and also links to their AO3 collections. I do hope you enjoy browsing and reading or re-reading some of these old favourites, or maybe discovering some old stories for the first time.

Near the end of the fic, Peeta sells his paintings to Portia, earns enough money to buy an apothecary, and eventually he and Katniss get married. They have several children and end up living in Victor’s Village.
I also vaguely remember an early scene involving Mrs. Delly Cartwright’s mother talking to Mrs. Mellark about how beautiful Katniss and Prim were.
Does anyone know the title or author of this fic? I’ve been looking everywhere and can’t find it!

I'm looking for one or it might be two fics. Where Katniss becomes the nanny of the child she was a surrogate for Peeta and an ill wife or she has a one night stand with Peeta, gets pregnant, then gives the baby up for adoption which it's adopted by Peeta and she ends up as the nanny of their baby

As for the single Dad!Peeta / Nanny Katniss fics, three immediately come to my mind:
(1) Untitled Ficlet (part 1, part 2, part 3) by Atetheredmind aka muttpeeta
(2) Your Hand in Mine by ellembee
(3) Take Care by Amelia Day (in this story Peeta was raising his much younger brother Rye and hires Katniss as a nanny). However, this also appears to have been deleted.

Hi! I’m looking for an Everlark fanfic inspired by The Terminator that I read a while ago but can’t find anymore. Peeta is sent back in time to protect Katniss from a terminator sent by the Capitol (I think it was Cato) to kill her before she can become the Mockingjay. Peeta ends up volunteering in Gale’s place for the Games. I think it’s mentioned that because of that decision the future changes, since originally only Katniss wins and there was no star-crossed lovers story.

I'm looking for this fic I can't find anymore. In the story, people from the future come back and take control over Snow and the Games. They assign each person a color: one means you're alive and living in a district, another means you're alive but living outside the district, and another means you're dead. For those who are alive, they are also given the address where they live. Does anyone know the name of this fanfic and where I can read it?

I'm not familiar with this fic, but I'll publish your ask in the hopes that maybe some of our followers know what story it is.
I am looking for a fic where Katniss is coming home after being in LA for a few years. As she arrives home at the airport, she sees Peeta waiting but realizes he is actually picking up his current gf (either Glimmer or OC I think). We learn that Peeta actually met the gf in LA. We later learn that on that trip he actually went to LA to find Katniss, but saw her with another man (Cinna I'm pretty sure, who he doesn't realize is gay). One of the key plot points I remember is that Katniss sneaks into Peeta's home one evening to get paints for her mom because she knows the Mellark family is doing their annual Christmas caroling. The girlfriend end up actually being home and catches Katniss and we find out that Peeta never told the girlfriend that he painted. Katniss and Peeta end up together in the end. I remember reading it within the last 6 months to a year and thought I bookmarked it on A03 but cannot find it.

You might check out In The Hollow Of His Hands by MTK4FUN. It's written from Mrs. Everdeen's POV after the war but she mentions the games from her perspective. You can find it here.
