Not to be long, today Fethry Duck first appeared in the comic “The Health Nut” which was published in 1964, in the comic book Topolino number 453, in the American edition it will come out two years later. That comic was written by Dick Kinney and drawn by Al Hubbard. Although he appeared rarely in American comics, he will gain greater popularity in Italian and Brazilian comics, and in certain European comics and is definitely Donald's best cousin (although he brings a lot of trouble). It can also be said that he is also the real Disney version of "SpongeBob", although Fethry was created 35 years before SpongeBob. More about him here: Happy late birthday, Fethry Duck!
Last year he celebrated his 60th anniversary, and now he's 61. And yes, he's one of the best characters in the Duckverse for me. Without further ado, here are some pictures of him with his family, friends, and rivals from his first appearance to the present day. Happy birthday, dear Fethry!
If you love or are a fan of Fethry Duck, as well as a fan of his family and friends, feel free to like this and reblog this! Happy birthday Fethry Duck once again!

From 3 paperi e 1 bebè
I have missed Fethry, and when I missed Fethry, I either draw him or paint him.

Hi, has someone read "Ridi Paperoga" ("Laugh, Fethry Duck")? It was a magazine published in 2017 by Panini Comics: The idea was to create a Fethryish version of "Ridi Topolino" ("Laugh, Mickey Mouse") -12 issues- -which I confess I haven't read-, another humorous magazine containing also short unpublished stories. Each issue of "Ridi Paperoga" opened with an editorial introducing to the issue's contents and reaffirm the magazine's seriousness. After that there were short stories, features such as reviews, the big theme (il temone), sometimes accompanied by the big test (il testone), games, mail, well-explained jokes, creative reconstructions of stories starting from single vines, republished stories and other contents. This project was an idea by Tito Faraci -ideator of "Ridi Topolino" as well-, Marco Bolla -who disappeared after the end of this project- and Sio -mainly famous for his Scottecs comics on YouTube-.
At the end of the fourth issue I expected the usual announce "From September 25th -more hardly at the hairdresser's/beautician...Ridi Paperoga 5!" -note: here in Italy all haridresser's and beauticians' shops have magazines, mainly tabloids, in some cases also newspapers and/or lifestyle magazines; I thought "Ridi Paperoga" would have improved the quality of the readings there-
But I came across a comic in which a hen asked Fethry "Basta così?" -can be translated to "Are we stopping now?" or "Enough?"- :-C
I wrote this post beacause I really liked "Ridi Paperoga" for its particular but always clever humour. Has someone read it or would someone like to read it?
Fun fact: in the second issue, there's the closest thing to a curse word in a Disney magazine -ROFLMAO
