For those who will party tonight be careful in the streets!
Us in an airplane would be me digging my fingers into your arm as you try and not throw up rip. I send you hugs cause motion sickness is evil
Lol i can have pills and it can help. On planes, it didn't seem as bad as boats and i hate it because i love the sea!! And i love water.
There's probably some stuff you can do to help you with anxiety. Hopefully. Idk what lol but except the start and the landing, while you're in the air, it's the same as if you're in a car. If there's a little bit of turbulence, pot hole. I never experienced a lot of turbulence or anything that bad.
Anxiety is also evil. 😞

Ariel Schlesinger
Today’s artist lecture was manned by the artist Ariel Schlesinger. It had a lot of chaotic energy. Compared to the other artist lectures this one was very free-form there was not much of a plan, no PowerPoint or slides but the lack of them made it much more spontaneous; you were able to see much more of the artists personality and can imagine how he operates on a daily basis which I liked.
Ariel's first focus and perhaps the little bit of plan he did have was how other’s view your art compared to how you view your own art which he said was similar to how you perceive yourself in one way compared to how others see you which I related to. This was visualised though him searching himself up on different sites, it was kind of like a mini experiment though he called it therapy, which was both amusing and made sense.
Over these weeks it has been interesting to see different kinds of art that people create, and this week’s art was no different. Schlesinger’s art is very fun to take in, there’s is something alive about the work he showed us, they all have this kinetic energy to them much like Ariel himself, even the static works, which he talked about wanting them to have the same principles as the kinetic works.
The step by step process he took to his art was fun to see. How his brain works and all that jazz. He would conjure up an idea, test it and then experiment to get the desired effect to be able to repeat it. I admired the hand on and technical approach behind his work it all felt kind of mad scientist like but worked and the end result was something extremely absorbing.

Overall he had a very vibrant, charismatic personality and though he kept asking if he was finished now or not what he was talking about was engaging as the thought that if you want to do something ‘just do it’ really spoke to me.
