Community Terminology
Some transage community members created a system to make it easier to communicate one's altage identity without relying on labels.
Nepi- typically 0-5 (infant-toddler)
Ped- typically 5-11 (child)
Hebe- typically 11-15 (young teen)
Ephebe- typically 15-19 (older teen / young adult)
Teleio- typically 19-35 (full adult)
Meso- typically 35-60 (middle aged adult)
Gerento- typically 60+ (older adult)
A- anage, ageless, or voidage (without age)
DA- demi-anage (partially without age)
O- panage (all ages)
Chrono- chronological age (physical age)
Intra- internal age (perceived age)
Usage Examples
"Hey, I'm a CEIM. I am chronologically 15-19 and my internal or altage is 35-60."
"Hey, I'm a CTI(MG). I am chronologically a young adult and identify with both mesoage and gerentoage."
"Hey, I'm a CMIDA. I'm a chronological adult and identify as demi-ageless."
"Hey, I'm Chrono-20 Intra-43."
Chrono- and intra- can come before or after each other in the abbreviation.
"Hey, I'm IACH. I don't have an internal age and I'm chronologically hebeage."
