Day 7 of coding everyday for a year! It's kind of a late night this time lol.
My husband and I worked hard at it today! I added the task page functionality and UI and my husband helped me with things I didn't fully know how to do. It's great being married to senior dev lol

Day 5 of coding everyday for a year!
I did a lot today! I implemented the UI for the task list including subtasks, and task details. Crossing off a task if IsCompleted is true. Using many types of tasks such as one time, daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly. Husband worked on more notification work. I think we will get this done before the weekend is over for sure!
Next things to go is edit/add task, getting notifications working for reminders about tasks, and more testing.
Days 50-62 of coding everyday for a year! I'm not dead!
I have worked on C# and C++ so much in the last days of development. I haven't posted because I've been so busy with school. I'm on the president's honor roll so I'm working hard to maintain that. I have been working on setting up my .Net Maui application that I'll be using as my C# project final. I'm also going to be doing my C++ midterm this coming week.
I'll be working on getting my project started. Studying for my midterm, and learning as I go.
Day 13-14 coding progress. Well got a migraine last night and passed out, and had my game development class to teach today, so I finally got time in the evening.
Yesterday I made a sword in Asset Forge for getting things ready for the upcoming game jam! Today I decided to get back to my Maui app which is now called Puppy Tasks. I am having issues as you can see... I can't get my Moods enum to show up correctly. I've tried 2 different ways of implementing this and I'm so frustrated. Any help would be appreciated.
Tomorrow I'll be working at this problem more until it's fixed

Today I added more to the add task functionality, so I'd say I'm now around 4/5 the way done now. Husband has been working on notifications. I definitely learned a lot more Xaml today than I normally work with, which was nice.
Tomorrow I'm working on adding different pickers with each task type from my task type enum (shouldn't be difficult). Husband is going to test my changes more and fix some confusing bugs we are having.

Days 19 and 20 of coding everyday for a year. I'm going to start posting every other day to reduce how much I'm posting.
On Friday I did a big refactor because I had some issues with a few bugs. I also added a welcome page. Today I added the rest of the journal functionality as well as proper navigation using the shell. Now to just make it prettier! My husband has been doing his Unity stuff in preparation for the jam starting tomorrow, but helped me make this gif lol
Tomorrow I'll be doing my best to make it prettier and maybe add notifications if I don't need to refactor again. I might have to switch gears for the jam, but I'll post progress on the code for the jam!
Day 42-46 another good chunk of time!
I have made a dialogue system for our game jam game, and designed a lot of the game overall. We are using Pixel Engine For Unity by Dragon Lens Studios as an asset for the game. I've worked on many systems for Pixel Engine because I work for DLS.
Our game will be about going to hell and learning the reason why you are there, because you killed someone. Is it manslaughter, or was it murder? You have to find out on Hell's favorite game show!
The next few days I'll be getting the game completed and doing more HTML/CSS and C++ homework.
Day 9 of coding everyday for a year. Didn't do a whole lot today, but I was super sleepy
Today I made subtasks for tasks, and I added handing for recurrence for each task type. My husband helped with these since we are both tired and two of us right now makes one brain
Tomorrow I'll be a adding more handling, and cleaning up things that do not make sense for the selected task types, and maybe getting the notifications done more 😅
