I keep having dreams where I find a file on my PC called like "06 - Àêâàðèóì - Ñàìûé Áûñòðûé Ñàìîëåò.mp3" and it's the greatest thing I've ever heard. Always wake up frustrated.

Going to try again! I failed this year due to drama in my life but 2025 will be better. I present my challenge of coding everyday for a year! Even if it's a couple of minutes and it's something simple it counts!
Today on 12/27/2024 I start with a .Net Maui project where I make a therapy app! It will interface with your therapist so therapy appointments focus more on solutions rather than recapping everything and it takes up 30/45 minutes
Exercism Coding Challenge
I decided to start the Exercism Coding Challenge #12in23. The goal of this challenge is to experiment with 12 different languages by the end of the year. Each month has a specific theme, such as functional programming or scientific programming. The most interesting part is that you don't need to work on large projects; instead, you can try for each language five different algorithms on the Exercism platform. These algorithms can be simple or more challenging, depending on your choice. The challenge began in February, so I'm already running late and need to catch up. However, since Exercism provides organized tracks for each language and has a large community to help with coding problems, I believe it's a great opportunity to practice, boost my coding skills, and explore a variety of languages. Check it out.
Coding Language Tag Game~!
Tagged by: @xiacodes Thanks girl!!! ٩(◕‿◕。)۶ Favourite Coding Languages (づ ◕‿◕ )づ Starting with an EPIC FAIL: I have no favourite coding language, yet! I work with Java on my daily basis, BUT, as I work with TONS of legacy code, I also have to use: JSP, JQuery, JSF, Struts... they are horrible! I also use HTML (which is not a coding language in its core), JavaScript, and CSS. So, as my days as a Java Developer has this amount of old stuff, I suffer more than enjoy coding at work. I dealt with Python for a place in a Bootcamp challenge, did not make it, but I liked to work with Python a bit, it is so light, no verbose, and fast... but was not enough to proclaim it as my fav. So, dishonour on me, dishonour on my fav language.
Least Favourite Programming Language (>_<) JSP is a (bunch of terrible words here!!!). It is not a specific language, but it is a pain in the &¨$% for me. Tag sharing ╰( ^o^)╮╰( ^o^)╮ @web-dev-with-bea @xiabablog @code-es @mockingcode @zooilogicallyimprobable @codingbby
hello there and welcome to my first coding challenge! i really wanted to do something fun for the community and this is what i came up with (thank you my love @vitaminholland for helping me out <3)
there are no rules! here i leave you the prompts for this challenge but you're under no obligation to do all of them, and theres no time limit either
any code: code whatever you want but it must contain popups and/or tabs
any code: revamp your first code/the oldest work you haven't revamped yet
any code: code out of the box, try to code a theme or page that's is of a new style
any code: collab with your favorite theme maker
page: do whatever, but no js allowed
theme: anything that counts as grid/masonry/colcade/multi column
page: a page without any images
theme: a theme that must have multiple sidebars
free space
you can tag your works with #southcodeschallenge and i will reblog all of them!
theres no need to reblog this but it would be appreciated
do your best and have fun!<3

Sisyphus: A Dice and Card Game (version 2)
Alright! So here's my improved take on a Sisyphus board game!
The Object of the Game: Get to 100 points by rolling dice.
Things you will need: 2 six-sided dice per Sisyphus, 1 twenty-sided die for The Boulder (or 3 six-sided dice), a deck of 52 playing cards (Jokers optional), and something to write on.
The Rules of the Game:
Anyone who initiates the game ("Hey, anyone wanna play 'Sisyphus'?", "Can I show you this cool dice game?", etc.) MUST play as Sisyphus. It would be rude otherwise. The Boulder shuffles the deck of cards.
Anyone playing as Sisyphus will roll their 2 six-sided dice and write down their result.
The player playing as The Boulder will roll their twenty-sided die (or 3 six-sided dice, if you want a different challenge OR you do not have a twenty-sided die available).
Each Sisyphus guesses the top card of the deck (Ace of Hearts, Two of Clubs, Seven of Spades, etc.), then The Boulder reveals the card and sets it aside.
If a player guesses correctly, they ADD The Boulder's result to their score. If a player only guesses the value (Ace, Two, Three...Jack, Queen, King), they IGNORE The Boulder's result. If a player only guesses the suit correctly (Heart, Spade, Club, Diamond), then they SUBTRACT HALF of The Boulder's result from their score. And if a player guesses incorrectly, they SUBTRACT The Boulder's result from their score.
Repeat steps 2-5 until either the deck runs out of cards or every Sisyphus gets to 100 (whichever comes first).
Notes: If you use Jokers in the deck, they are Wildcards and always count as a correct guess for Sisyphus. After step 5/Before step 2, any Sisyphus can look at, organize, and/or count the already revealed cards. And if you initiate a game of Sisyphus, you only have to be Sisyphus for the first game (if anyone wants to keep playing after that, you can be The Boulder on any subsequent games).
Always remember that suffering can give us meaning in life, and have fun!

Cs50: Day4 Okay, so I have around 30 minutes of lecture remaining to get done with week 1 & I'm super excited to learn more. I have to rewatch many snippets of code shown in the video though just to make myself clear of concepts explained. I am someone who did python before, so the concepts of C was relatively easier to pick. I also signed up for Hacker rank and topcoders because why not hehe. Thought it to be helpful to practice different questions side by side while doing cs50. I started journalling from 2021 to keep myself accountable and organized. I am a little late for making my monthly spread for may but here it is with cute little donuts, muffins, and crossiants. I also decided to track my coding streaks using the same spread. I have also learnt how to break problem down or form chunks for a bigger problem using Scratch yesterday. p.s excuse my messy background
Apptober 2020 Project
Greetings to my fellow Software engineers, programmers, script kiddies and code monkeys! It's that time of year again when we write code for fun, and post about it every day for fake internet points! I have been AFK for most of this year due to *vaguely gestures at everything*, and Apptober is the perfect time to get back into personal projects.
When I first started programming, I wanted to put together a collection of tools, scripts, and libraries that were useful for programmers. Kind of like Batman's utility belt, for for solving common computer tasks. Unfortunately, when I was just starting out I had no idea what kinds of things would be useful, and most of the things I thought of could actually be solved using existing tools that I just needed to learn (grep, find, nc, etc).
Now that I have been writing software professionally for several years, I have come up with a handful of tasks that I hate having to do, and would like to automate. So my Apptober goal is to finally start my Programmer Utility Belt, and add a couple of useful tools to it. I'll be posting all of the code on Github as I go, with summaries of my designs, thoughts, and process here on Tumblr.
I _think_ I’ll be writing most of it in Go, because that is what I’m using the most nowadays, but I might fall back on some familiar Python or Bash scripts too.
