Up bright and early this morning to capture a special made-in-Toronto #guitar and #amp for my 9000th post: . The guitar is @iamtheosdad's @frank_brothers Arcade model in aged burgundy mist over old growth korina, with a real #PAFpickup, and #BrazilianRosewood fretboard. . The amp is a 1968 @traynor_amps #Bassmaster on loan from my amp tech @marshalllespaulfan. The cab is probably a little older based on the script logo. . Both of these were made in my city of #Toronto...although >50 years apart. . One other special thing about this photo...it was taken in 100% natural light, which is rare for me in this house and pretty much impossible in my dark basement! But the sun was bright enough through the tiny windows that I could just manage it... although I had to do it at ISO1000, f/2.8 and 1/13th second (handheld too!) to let in enough light! I was lying on the floor with my arms braced in a triangle shape to hold the camera steady while the shutter remained open.
