... No?? Maybe... Not really! No, look-- He trusts his friends. Like.. anyone does. And yeah, there's a lot of shit he'd do for them. He thinks it's to a pretty normal extent, though! Not like... He wouldn't put it like that.

Sometimes you're not really a super protective guy but you got this one friend who's like. crazy. and super trusting it seems like. and there's some dangerous people around here so you're li k e.... aight.
He's not really one to step up like that, but if there's like... an obvious threat, he'll jump in and protect if he gotta, so... Or, really, he'll try to pull 'em back before anything gets to that level.

...?? He... Don't know?? His working memory hasn't seen a whole lot of 'big gestures', so...
In other words, it's free reign. that means, any big gesture on his behalf would make him crumble. He just doesn't expect anything like it, and wouldn't know what to do with it at all-- As it stands, he's still at the point where anyone just talking to him makes his heart and nerves all fluttery
