Something that drives me crazy about the original grayscale Shadow High dolls is that the grays never match... Like the hair will be warm gray and the skin will be neutral gray and the clothes will be cool gray.

The toughest thing to me about writing in the style of Disco Elysium is the fact that passive checks don't show up at all if you fail them. I always have the urge to show when a different Harry MIGHT have figured something out, but this one didn't quite get there. (I think it's the fallout new Vegas in me.)
In the game itself though, it's a fantastic dynamic. it's like a vanishing act. When you play the game, you don't see how much is waiting under the surface for a Harry with a different skillset to find. You can only see your own perception of the world... Which is how real life works, but it's often difficult to get that feeling to register in a video game, because the fact that it's a game often necessitates some level of omnipotence on the players part. Like enemy health bars, but on a psychological level. Or something.

i think the most wonderful thing about death shroud (besides the whole charity part) is that its given the fandom something new to all be excited about together. we dont really get that very often.

I hate the way that veronicas story ENDS in like.... Horrible misery and pain and hopelessness. (Not bc it's necessarily a bad choice writing wise, I don't feel like making claims like that rn, but bc it makes me want to lay on the floor and eat dirt.)

The artwork of disco elysium has inspired me so so much, I've been taking risks and enjoying the process of creating art in a way I haven't in YEARS. I honestly don't remember the last time I felt so full of ideas and had so much fun experimenting with color and composition. Man. It's really good.
