明けましておめでとう! Happy New Year!
Do you have any fun New Years traditions for today? Today I’m gonna make among other things ozoni (mochi soup), which is what Sasmu is holding! Different parts of Japan have different recipes (Ansy’s of course would be Kanto style with a clear, shoyu soup!). A couple people from Hokkaido (Sinnoh) told me theirs has a lot of veggies, including Ainu negi (scallion / leek), which I’m pretty sure Medicinal Leeks are based on!
2025 is gonna be the year of the Snake, so Serperior! Maybe Mizumi studied them when she considered going to Blueberry Academy? Either way, Ingo seems to recognize it! 🐍
