As the mod behind B.F.M., I am genuinely charmed. I have never read the novel myself, though one of my friends has described it to me. It really IS scary how charming the language reads to me, how newspeak feels catchy in a way that makes me WANT to learn- but then I remember the context in which it was founded and recoil from the thought. Love the interactions. Sorry my girl sucks.
