For next month’s Owl Post Club postcard, I let the members choose which prompt they wanted me to work on. The clear winner was ‘how to brew Amortentia’ and I’m so glad it was. I had a blast working on this one. The entire recipe is available only for members on Patreon. Note: I am not responsible if you try to brew this and it goes wrong. Try at your own risk😌

Love potions have both a fun and dangerous side. I wanted this recipe to reflect that. I can’t wait to send out these postcards! I picked out some bright pink envelopes and will be kissing each one with some bright lipstick, because you can’t go too big with Valentine’s Day!💞

Must Love Owls | कलाकार (digthewriter) Summary: Harry and Draco answer a dating ad where the other is required to have an owl as a pet.

The air at the Ministry is too hot, and Draco is sweating under his silken dress shirt.

He wants desperately to cast a cooling charm, but he doesn't want to let on how uncomfortable he is. It's the first time he's had to make a request of this sort and it's a big deal.

Still, he's obviously too used to the cool stone basement he usually works in because if he'd realised it was going to be this warm in the bloody building he'd have worn something lighter.

Instead he let Pansy get into his head and dressed up, determined to look his best for the Minister and the department heads.

He had to meet with each of them to make his request. The ingredients he’s requesting for his latest wand project are prohibited and he knows the fact that he is the best wandmaker in Wizarding Britain is not enough to outweigh the fact that it is him (a former Death Eater) that is making the request.

Already he can see the skepticism on Head Auror Shaklebolt and Minister Scrimgeour's faces. Granger—department head for the Department of Mysteries—at least has the decency to hide her distrust under a neutral expression.

It wasn't going well, to put it bluntly, but he was confident he could bring them around.

OMGG who is this? i kind of love you. it looks like here in argentina we’re going to be stuck inside for a while longer (news are saying mid april??) so that is definitely a possibility. would anyone even be interested??

He sat right next to Harry on the dirt, his back against the clear glass greenhouse walls, sat next to him as if they hadn’t spent years hating each other, bickering and yanking on metaphorical pigtails and spitting hexes. As if Harry hadn’t pulled Draco out of the Fiendfyre and as if Draco hadn’t known exactly who Harry was at the Manor. He sat next to him as if that was something he was allowed to do, and something Harry might want, even though he looked wretched and bleary-eyed and Draco hadn’t slept the night through in weeks. He sat next to Harry, shoulder to shoulder and pulled his cloak around himself, until Harry eventually shuffled closer to steal Draco’s warmth and Draco dropped the edge of his cloak over Potter, too.

And then, Draco did it again the next night.

And then the next.

And the next.
