Eve sighed as Claire continued to bark orders at her. Her redheaded boss was being particularly bossy this evening. Eve could barely take another second in the stressful environment.

After finally finishing up at work in the control room, she packed her bag and drove to her shared house with the other interns. The minute she got in the door, she raced upstairs to take a long hot shower. After that, she threw on some decent clothes and headed out with some of the others to SunRios. She wasn’t usually much of a partier, but for this occasion, all she wanted was to get drunk and have some fun.

Once they arrived at the bar, a round of shots was ordered and Eve threw it back, winching at the sting. Five rounds later, and she felt that familiar fuzzy feeling as the alcohol kicked in.

Alex had finished her rounds and she was off the clock. She’d brought a bag with her so she could get ready for her date in the office building for the Valley and she did.

She took a shower and then dressed in a wonderful dress she had. The shoes and jewelry were new and her shrug was just for her modesty. Her hair was pulled up and she didn’t do any makeup. She didn’t think she should since it would be fake for her to do it.

She waited around the outside and hoped she hadn’t misheard him. And that it wasn’t a prank.

The first person to send me “Got you!” will have my muse tied up to a chair in their basement, completely at their mercy.

Alex fidgeted against her bindings and arched an eyebrow. “You could have at least used silk you know,” She offered. “It’s strong and it feels nice against the skin. So... what do you intend to do with me all tied up down here?”

Well this was new... and definitely unexpected. She’d gone through the whole party without being noticed. And then this. A dark blush rested on her cheeks when the kiss had ended and she blinked, stunned. “I... that...” She started, trying to piece together an actual coherent sentence. “Happy New Year?”
