Outrage/Outrageous From Melody (G, 458 words)

There were a handful of songs that were more precious than others. Outrageous always made him smile when he heard it, although he’d sooner admit to having a receding hairline than liking anything by Britney. Likewise, I’m Glad There Is You held a special place in his heart, although he could never play it without a bittersweet pang of sadness. 

Offer - I use this one as a dialogue tag far too often! Found one where it's not being used like that.

He winced at the age mention but knew he’d earned that after the jab about her sex life. “Can it, Babyface,” he grumbled without malice. “Anyway, it’s not so hot now, just seems kind of weird. No games, I swear,” he said. “You can tell on me to Gibbs if I do.”  That offer seemed to appease her, although she still looked sceptical. “And you will not abandon me halfway through the evening because you have found someone you would rather take home?” Ziva paused for a moment, head tilted to the side, considering. “Not that there are any particularly good choices in my building,” she finished with a shrug, tossing another chocolate in her mouth.  “Nope, the only one I take home will be you,” he promised softly. Their eyes locked for a second, the odd energy that arose whenever a more-than sentence was spoken.  Ziva broke first, looking away to determine which colour to start on next. “Okay, be at my place at 5.30 on Saturday. The party starts at six.  It will give us time to work out our story.” She moved on to the yellows.

Offend - Holiday WIP

Simon waved his hand dismissively, although he did drop it to his side instead of offering it to her again. “I’m sure with some encouragement, it could be. It’s Christmas after all, what day would be better to remember our first dance?”   Ziva sighed and decided to ignore the fact that Christmas itself was still five days away, and laced the fingers on her left hand with Tony’s to emphasise her point. “As I have told you several times, I do not celebrate Christmas. Nor do I dance with other men when I am in a relationship.”  “In the nature of Yuletide goodwill and friendship, I’m sure that one dance won’t offend your uh... escort?” He offered Tony a quick, dismissive glance. “Besides, you can’t be that serious about not celebrating Christmas if you’re here,” he finished, sounding a little petulant. 

Obey - both the WIP occurrences (I seem to like this word) engage River Song, so here's one from Tangled

"You haven't touched your weapon since February, DiNozzo. Get down to the range and get your eye in again." Gibbs pointed at the elevator, with a sigh Tony collected his weapon from the drawer it lived in and left. "David, get Bracco on the phone, find out when she can see you, book for DiNozzo too... and call whoever you need to about clearance for everything else. You're not setting foot in the gym without it." Ziva obeyed the first instruction with a grimace, "Dr Bracco will see me in an hour and Tony at 1400. May I go down and see Ducky? I was hoping he would have a contact for uh... the little stowaway." What might have been a smile ghosted across Gibbs' face for a millisecond. "That's what we're calling her, huh? Go on, get out of here." He nodded. "Make it right with Palmer while you're down there." Ziva took her can of ginger ale, and not wishing to repeat the misadventure on the way up, made for the stairs.

Objective - a WIP from those November Sense prompts that I was doing, but I kind of lost steam on this one.
