History:
Whisper and her brother Klonoa was born to unknown parents before the coming of Jenova. Their mother was the goddess’s Celestial Envoy, Father was head of the army. They lived a happy life as children in the City of the Ancients. Then disaster struck. Jenova crashed into the planet and their father went off to stop the calamity.
Their father never made it home. He died defending the planet from Jenova. Their mother prayed furiously to the goddess for help, but the goddess could not do much to help at the moment. Jenova slaughtered countless innocent Cetra and Trancendial Dreamurrs until the goddess took what remained of the Transcendial Dreamurrs and sealed them away in an alternate dimension until the calamity could be defeated. She could not save the Cetra, and it pained to her to leave them to die.
The mother of Klonoa and Whisper prayed for the safety of the Cetra, hoping that there would be some left to repopulate the earth. Unfortunately, very few remained and they went into hiding. However, there was hope. Although the mother had become ill, she predicted the coming of a hero. One that would end the calamity for good with his friends. Before she could say the boy’s name she died of her illness, leaving Klonoa and Whisper orphans. They were taken in by the goddess herself and raised with love. Whisper was selected to the goddess’s Celestial Envoy, while Klonoa was the leader of the Dreamurr army like his father before him. Thousands of years passed as the two underwent serious training. Sometimes not seeing each other physically for years.
Minerva, who had sealed the dimension away finally saw the prophecy of whisper’s mother come to pass in thew form of Cloud Strife and his party. After the events surrounding Vincent Valentine, she decided it was time to open up the dimension in which she had sealed the Dreamurrs away.
But first, to make sure that the planet was safe once more for her chosen creatures; she sent Whisper and Klonoa to investigate the world and report to the council of Dremurrs. The form of government that was created by the dreamurrs long ago.
Finding the planet safe for inhabitation, the Transcendial Dreamurrs returned to the planet. There weren’t too many left after the calamity, about 100 or so... but they were determined to repopulate Gaia and live in peace.
The populace of Gaia was skeptical about these creatures suddenly appearing, but the WRO convinced them that accepting them home was the right thing to do. Most of the Trancendial Dreamurrs live in the City of the Ancients, rebuilding their society and making the city inhabitable once again. In fact, some humans have moved to the City of the Ancients to help out with the reconstruction and live there.
Klonoa lives there, training his army in case of another calamity. The army is made up of humans and Dreamurrs alike, all working together for the benefit of peace.
Whisper however, is a different story. She chose to go on a spiritual journey to find her center and become the Celestial Envoy that the goddess needs her to be. She prayed at each of the sacred places of the Cetra to enhance her divinity until her powers fully awakened. Now she resides in Cosmo Canyon, traveling where she is needed through magic when others are in trouble.
