The squishing of Cloak’s cheeks caused him to shake, since he was slightly uncomfortable with the sudden affection. It wasn’t because of the person who was doing this, but rather himself disliking being touched without permission. This could be noticed by very small body tremors. And not to mention his face had become darker from embarrassment, due to being called cute.
“Um… n-no, I’m not cute…”
“You’re too timid, it’s easy to see you as a target.”
“Nobody seems to like me in this neighbourhood… that’s why I just hide from everybody.” By hide, Cloak meant turning invisible whenever he’d come across people who would bully him.
