And thanks Paide who gave me this opportunity and waited tenaciously. #Repost @outlineslabel (@get_repost) ・・・ The last groove dedicated to dub techno experiments with 160bpm and footwork is the release of Japanese producer Wataru Kobayashi, known as @loopdrive . Wider circles of listeners may not be familiar with his work, except for some experts in the field of the Japanese juke / footwork scene. loopdrive is the author of the "Forged sketches” album, which was originally to appear in 2016 in the iconic Japanese Booty Tune label. "Forged sketches" bore resemblance to the music characteristic of the initial stage of Scuba's work (and its basic channel dubstep hybrids) transferred to the sound environment of the Chicago Footwork. Nobody had attempted to combine these styles before, which is why this album was unique in many ways. In the end, the album was not released, and its fate and loopdrive's place in the history of the genre's evolution are still hidden for the ordinary listener and, hence, underestimated by him. The idea of the groove number 9 by loopdrive was dictated by the need to draw the listener’s attention to his work and achievements. Both the tracks stylistically stem from Watar's earlier productions and constitute their expansion. They feature traditional elements typical of the Mille Plateaux and Hotflush Recordings based on footwork polyrhythms.
