These Mini Tandoori Burgers are a delightful twist on classic burgers, infused with the flavors of tandoori spice and served in mini buns, making them perfect for a summer BBQ or any outdoor gathering. The juicy tandoori-seasoned patties pair wonderfully with cool cucumber and mint chutney, creating a burst of flavors in every bite.
Ingredients: 1 pound ground chicken or turkey. 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt. 2 tablespoons tandoori masala spice mix. 1 teaspoon ground cumin. 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander. 1/2 teaspoon ground paprika. Salt and pepper to taste. 4 mini burger buns. 1/2 cup cucumber, thinly sliced. 1/2 cup red onion, thinly sliced. Lettuce leaves for garnish. Mint chutney or tzatziki sauce for topping.
Instructions: Ground turkey or chicken, Greek yogurt, tandoori masala spice mix, ground cumin, ground coriander, ground paprika, salt, and pepper should all be mixed together in a bowl. Make sure to mix the ingredients well until they are all mixed in. The mixture should be shaped into small burger patties that are about the same size as your small burger buns. Warm up your grill or BBQ over medium-high heat. To keep them from sticking, oil the grates. These little burger patties should be cooked all the way through and have nice grill marks after about 4 to 5 minutes on each side. Toast the mini burger buns on the grill until they are golden and a little crispy while the patties are cooking. Put a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun and then a grilled patty on top of it to make a mini tandoori burger. Add slices of cucumber and red onion on top. Spread a lot of mint chutney or tzatziki sauce on the top half of the buns, and then put them on top of the burgers that have been put together. If necessary, use toothpicks to hold the burgers together, and serve them hot. Take a bite of your mini tandoori burgers at your summer BBQ!
