Agent Sparrow Field Notes: February 23d, 2001

The Rusalka of project Winter have been equipped with legs and issued temporary wand-bearing privileges for the duration of a two-day experiment being conducted in sector five. It is the decree of the Giltfeather Committee that creatures possessing near-human intelligence be afforded the opportunity to learn the customs of the wixen world, and that they may share their knowledge in turn. Overtures of a similar nature made to Goblins have been zealously rebuffed.

It is the belief of Agent Delta, who appears to have made common practice of consulting on cases with subject Bluebell, that the Rusalka involved in project Winter regard the whole endeavor as little more than a farce. There is a slim but distinct possibility that said Rusalka are, in fact, merely here gathering information on the inner workings of the Department for their own ends.

Tipping Price off to Delta's behaviour is no longer an option, as Delta knows about my unsanctioned visits to Pegasus. However, neither is it an option for Delta to report my communications with Pegasus, as I am aware that he is harboring Luke Tessarino in his office. We find ourselves at a stalemate.

Project Winter will carry forward as planned, subsidized by the Giltfeather Committee, whose coffers in turn are funded by long-time Ministry benefactors the Apothecaries Guild.
