Hey! I love your blog! Could you do a ouat Peter imagine where the reader likes pan but thinks he doesn't feel the same so she starts trying to move on with the lost boys & she's flirting with Felix & Peter sees & gets really possessive over her?? Requested by Anon.
A/N: So, I was originally planning to do these two requests as separate imagines but as I was writing the first one of them I realized how similar they both would be. Overall, this imagine probably leans more towards the first request but if the second anon would like me to write something separate for their request just inbox me and I’ll get to work on it :) xxx
“Aren’t you supposed to be keeping your Lost Boys in check?” You asked, smirking as you lightly pushed at his shoulders.
“Sh.” Was his only reply as he descended on you once again, lips pushing at yours as his hands tangled in your hair. It seemed he was obsessed with giving you endless tangles and knots, not that you were complaining.
Laughing against his lips you pushed at him once more. “Peter c’mon.” He ignored you, moving instead to trail his lips down your neck. “They’ll be lost without you.” You whispered, somewhat distracted, and then smirked. “Well, more lost than usual at least.” It appeared that Pan didn’t appreciate your little joke, he merely hummed in acknowledgement before continuing his attack on your neck.
Distantly, you could hear the sounds of Lost Boys outside; the unmistakable harsh sound of yelps and yells.
Giving up on convincing Peter to get up, you arched your neck just fractionally. You felt him smirk against the sensitive skin of your neck before he journeyed back up to your lips. He kissed you once, twice but before your lips could meet a third time you huffed a breathless laugh. “Felix is gonna be so annoyed.” Not noticing the annoyance painting his features you pulled him down for another kiss.
Suddenly, he pulled away and rolled off of you, sitting up and pulling his boots back on quickly. The sudden loss of his weight left you cold and insurmountably confused. Sitting up slightly, perching on your elbows, you stared in bewilderment at his back. “Peter, what are you doing?” Your voice was a mere whisper, your breaths still unsteady from his previously undivided attentions.
“Well, we wouldn’t want Felix getting annoyed would we?” His malicious tone had returned, something that usually retreated whenever he was around you.
Uncertain as to what was causing his current annoyance you tried to reach out a hand to him whilst breathing a quiet question. “Peter?” But before your fingertips could so much as brush his arm, he was gone.
Awkwardly shuffling into camp, you tucked a stray hair behind your ear. Internally cursing Peter, you had spent almost half an hour trying to tame your hair, you glanced around.
Peter was nowhere to be seen and around half of his Lost Boys had seemingly disappeared as well. You had no notion of where they all were or what they were doing but, considering the mood that Peter seemed to have been in when he had left you, you assumed that it wasn’t good.
Spotting Felix, idly staring into the flickering embers of the campfire, you walked over and stood over him. Noticing your sudden presence Felix slowly moved his gaze over to you. As he spotted the look on your face he huffed a sigh before asking; “what?”
He gave a dry laugh and looked out into the surrounding trees. “I don’t know.” That was not what you had expected. If there was one person on the whole of Neverland who could let you know what Pan was up to, it was Felix.
“Well... where’s everyone else?” You asked, looking through the trees as though the missing Lost Boys were suddenly going to appear.
“With Pan.” Almost groaning at Felix’s aggravatingly vague answers you raised your eyebrows expectantly.
Evidently. Felix knew you well enough to know that you weren’t satisfied with his meager explanations. He huffed, as though it were a great effort for him to explain. “Peter’s angry.”
“Oh fantastic.” You said, voice dripping with sarcasm, as you sat beside Felix. “Any idea why?”
Looking back into the fire Felix shrugged. “He turned up out here, got annoyed at one of the Boys and then made a bunch of them go with him somewhere. Didn’t say a word to me.”
Resting your elbows on your knees you huffed and glanced aimlessly around, deep in thought. You just couldn’t understand what had suddenly gone wrong. Ever since you had admitted your feelings for Peter, the two of you had been happy enough; he had calmed down and had fewer bouts of anger, you had relaxed a little and begun to enjoy Neverland even more.
“There’s a leaf in your hair.” Felix’s monotone statement drew you back to reality with a jolt.
“What?” You asked, confused and sure that you must have misheard.
He pointed towards your head. “There’s a leaf in your hair.”
Ignoring the heat rising in your cheeks you lifted your hand in attempt to remove it. You tried, and ultimately failed, to hide your embarrassment as you thought back to how the leaf must have found its way into your hair.
You and Pan had been... messing around, on the floor of the forest until you had complained about how uncomfortable you were. The next thing you had known, you had been lying on a ridiculously soft bed within Pan’s tree house.
Watching your unsuccessful attempt to remove the leaf from your hair, Felix batted your hand away and set to work at doing it for you. “How did you even get this in your hair?” He asked, entirely bewildered.
Blushing furiously at his question, you mumbled out a guilty sounding “umm.”
“Oh... uh...right.” He awkwardly stated, finally having managed to disentangle the leaf from your hair. You avoided his gaze as he threw the leaf into the surrounding area.
“Felix.” Both of you looked up instantly as Peter’s voice sliced through the silence. “Gather the Boys around the camp.” Felix nodded apprehensively, shot you one last look and stood. You watched him leave, filled with trepidation.
“C’mon.” Peter grabbed your arm and pulled you to your feet.
Instantly, you were back in the tree house. Startled at your sudden change of scenery, you looked up to Peter with wide eyes. “What’s going on?” You asked, voice filled with concern.
He laughed dryly, removed his hand from your arm and took a step back from you. “Maybe I should be asking you that?” His tone surprised you, he was more than just mad, his voice was shaking with fury. And yet, you couldn’t understand why.
Taking a step towards him, then retreating as he practically growled at you, you voiced your confusion. “What are you talking about?”
He shook his head in disbelief. “Don’t play coy now, you think I don’t see the way you are with Felix?” You could see his fists clenching and un-clenching systematically, his nails biting into his palm.
“W-what?” You sputtered out, you couldn’t believe what you were hearing. Pan was jealous of Felix. Peter Pan, the all powerful leader of Neverland, was jealous of Felix. It was ridiculous. “You seriously think there’s something going on between me and Felix?”
“I know there is.” He stated, taking a step closer towards you, eyes boring into yours. “The way you’re always talking to him or about him.” You scoffed, entirely incredulous. Sure, you talked to Felix occasionally; it wasn’t as though Neverland were heaving with people for you to talk to. “Don’t.” He warned, gaining fire by the second. “I saw you back there, just now, blushing as he...he...” Pan seemed to be struggling to come up with the right word. “...Fiddled with your hair.”
You couldn’t hold back your eye roll, unable to believe how ridiculous the situation was. Taking a breath, you attempted to remain level headed. You knew it would be useless to get angry with him, you needed to keep calm. “Peter, I wasn’t blushing because he was fiddling with my hair or anything ridiculous like that. It was because there was a stupid leaf in my hair from where you and I were screwing around earlier!” Your words got quicker and louder as your frustration slowly grew and you failed entirely to keep calm.
You could see him deliberating your words in his head but you knew that, even if he believed you, he was too proud to admit that he was wrong. Swallowing your own heavy pride, you reassured him. “There’s nothing going on between me and Felix... Peter he’s more likely to get into a relationship with his club than with me.” Your attempt at humor was mainly to hide your anger at his mistrust. “I only wanna be with you Peter.”
Your outright statement was finally enough to get Peter to look you in the eye once more. You could see that he had calmed considerably but that fact only agitated you more. Alongside often being outright terrifying, his mood swings were undeniably tiring.
“Good.” He finally said, licking his lips as a corner of his mouth lifted into a mischievous little smirk; you dreaded whatever he was about to say. “I didn’t bring you here to make the rounds.”
Mouth falling open at his words you felt yourself snap, your anger sending you spiraling over the edge. You raised your hand in an attempt to slap him, despite knowing that it was useless, but he caught your arm at the last second. Eyes gleaming playfully.
Cursing Pan’s superhuman reflexes, you shot him a glare. Your glare only caused his smirk to become more severe, before he yanked your arm and brought you even closer. His spare arm wrapped around your waist, leaving you flush against his figure.
As the heady sensation of being in his arms slowly drowned out your remaining, failing fury you found yourself smirking.
In a pitiful attempt to at least appear to still be angry, you muttered three words. “I hate you.” You had hoped your statement would sound full of fire but instead it was filled with affection.
Smiling as his forehead came to rest on yours, he whispered a hushed reply. “We both know that’s not true.” You chuckled breathlessly as he let go of your arm.
“Shut up.” You playfully instructed, using your newly freed arm to pull his lips to yours.
