We did an “un/doing masculinity” workshop and “Outside the XY” reading at the University of Cincinnati yesterday, and it was such a beautiful space. 

So grateful to the students and community members that participated and the LGBTQ Center on campus for bringing us out  (in particular, Lee, who held us down in every way). 

Come and celebrate this amazing piece of work this Monday on Indigenous People’s Day. 

“Outside the XY: Queer Black and Brown Masculinity" is an anthology filled with stories, confessions, essays, poetry and letters from QTPOCs (queer, trans people of color) around the world for whom masculinity has played a role in shaping their lived identities.

Outside the XY is a ground breaking collection of masculine of center, agender, intersex, transmen, lesbian, stud, third gender, transmasculine, androgynous, two-spirit and non-labeled folks exploring their journeys and lessons as they navigate and embody masculinity outside of “maleness”.
