I know she’s mean to Lucy but its only because she loves Gregory and as far as Hyacinth’s aware Lucy broke her brother’s heart and publicly humiliated him. Hyacinth exhibits a pretty normal reaction to Lucy’s decision at the alter, its actually Gregory’s resolute belief in Lucy thats crazy but indicative of the love and trust he has for her.

And Hyacinth actually immediately took to Lucy, she orchestrated an entire plan for her and Gregory at Daphne’s party. She’s just protective over her brother.

And by the second epilogue Lucy and Hyacinth’s relationship is at a point where Lucy wants Hyacinth at the birth of her child.
