Dawn and Dentata embody woman empowerment and how usually women chain themselves / work together just to get through a male dominated society. Dentata is Dawn's defense mechanism. (Though I CANT lie Dawn fully being taken over by Dentata and losing the girl she curated herself to be because of her curse is so sad. Justice for my girl)

While Hero and Brad are the embodiment of toxic masculinity also affecting males themselves. To Hero, Brad is not a man and thinks he has no aspect of being a man other than his manhood. That's why Hero killed Brad. (while on the contrary I'd like to think Dawn still resides with Dentata somewhere) Since Hero is in his head I lowkey headcanon that the Godfather's words during NWS after "A Real Man" is how I think Hero would talk to Brad.

no need to respond for obvious reasons if you don't wanna blast this on your blog I totally get it. I've just had issues with them for a minute, and I have issues with the use of the D word here to describe a group I'm also apart of (scoliosis, hypodontia, s/h scars and skeletal injuries resulting in disability, if those count?? I honestly haven't been around this "sub-area" in the disability community so to speak, forgive me if I'm incorrect about anything I'm only just stepping in lol), like as nice as it would be for mean words to be reclaimed as neutral, not everyone likes that. especially when I was told "disfiguremisia" is a term that was already coined. it's so... tone-deaf, disrespectful? I dunno

though formimisia is much better, at least imo :) It's! Kinda hard to detach words with inherently negative prefixes like de- or dis- from... negativity, alas. Rambling aside, all this to say I wish you well with your blog! I'm cheering and whooping in support

i dont fully follow discourse but i do think the way the blog handled negative responses was irresponsible, of course people would be upset about a word used as a slur against them and painting them as having internalized ableism feels gross to me

it also feels like only the angry asks were published to paint a different picture (not to say that the anger wasn't justified) but i know a couple people sent more informative/less angry asks about the words that were ignored/deleted
