The show’s official Facebook captions the post “A complicated history.” Well, no shit. My only consolation in the back half of the series might just be imagining what might have been had Arkham Asylum never come into the picture. They kind of give me Xia Ling x Razor Fist vibes — my Shang-Chi OTP — and I am down for that.
I know that's not going to happen, but I would love to see Sofia and Oswald kissing and spending a night together (doesn't have to be sex, even though I'm curious to see it. they can literally spend the night talking and being next to each other because they want to), being intimate (in any way) and close. in the past or in the present, it's not important.

Favorite Gotham dynamics: Sofia Falcone & Oswald Cobblepot
I really enjoyed the first half of season 4 because of these two. Oswald has been my favorite character from the very start. It's just so interesting how cruel he can actually be towards others but at the same time he is such a sensitive person who just seeks for someone to love him. He was so heartbroken after the whole thing with Ed and actually never wanted to let anyone ever get close to him again, understandably. But Sofia played wise. She knew exactly how to push his buttons and he completely fell for it.
The one aspect I REALLY liked about their relationship was that she was always tickling his ego. She always tried to make him feel superior and that no one could ever win over him. That's also the reason why I ship them because they indeed would have made a great mafioso power couple in Gotham. And I even believe Carmine would have given Oswald his blessing since he never really cared about Sofia's fate. Besides, I honestly think that Oswald had romantic feelings for Sofia. He wasn't in love with her yet, but I think he had hope that she could finally be the someone who truly cared about him.
Gotta say that at first I wasn't very fond of Sofia because of the actress. Knew Crystal Reed from Teen Wolf already and Allison was actually always my least favorite character XD But as Sofia Falcone, she did a DAMN good job and even became one of my favorite villains in Gotham. She had an interesting back story with her mafiosi family roots and used the weapons of a beautiful woman to gain the trust of everyone around her.
Such a shame that there weren't more moments between Oswald and her😢
