haven’t posted in a while! i’ve got my first real as fuck surgery tmrw (not major… i think?) i’m going under (real?) anesthesia for the first time… idk im so nervous. mostly bc of my crippling nicotine addiction and im thinking what are the chances my dumb ass should’ve mentioned smoking weed but was too afraid bc my mom would somehow find out and now my hearts gonna explode the second i get an iv in my wrist. nervous! but there’s a first for everything. i’m mostly annoyed by the no eating/drinking/(smoking) after midnight bc i neeeeeed a beverage as i go to sleep. i can have 4 ounces of water up until 5:30 am bc my surgery is at 9:30…. insanity

My younger son developed a lump on his arm. It appears to be an Osteochondroma, a generally-benign bone growth. His blood work is good. But tomorrow we consult with an Orthopaedic surgeon at the cancer center of the nearby children’s hospital. Not fun. Likely surgery that will limit mobility of an 11 yr old boy... also un-fun. Am wound up. :P
